By the time it was time for her date Wendy was still in the yard with Sara and Michael while Dana took a nap on the couch
Sparky and Spotty also were somewhere inside the house
They didn't heard the doorbell so Dana got up and opened the door, not expecting anyone
"Umm.. can I help you? " She asked and looked at this handsome tall dark skinned man who smiled at her "Uh hi" She mumbled, still looking up and down, observing this handsome man
"Yes, is Wendy here? " Miguel asked her, ignoring the fact she totally is checking him out, most women do, so he's used to it, it's part of being a personal trainer
"Who? " Dana asked staring at his chest that definitely had a six pack underneath his shirt
"Wendy Jones, your sister" Miguel spoke
"Oh she? .... yeah she's around" Dana mentioned, snapping back into reality
"Here you are" Michael began, looking for Dana "Sara wants- what is he doing here? " Michael asked, stopping mid sentence once he saw the person one of his exes left him for
"You again" Miguel scoffed looking at Michael
"Could say the same about you" Michael scoffed "Gonna leave my property or do I have to help you?" He added
"Not without my date " Miguel answered
"Oh really? " Michael scoffed
Both men shot each other disgusted glares
Dana stood there confused looking at both men like 'What hell is going on here? '
"Sorry I'm late" Wendy gasped and hugged her date "By the way this is who I told you about" She smiled at her sister and soon to be brother in law
"That's Miguel? " Dana gasped
"Yeah nice to meet you in person Miss Jones" Miguel smiled at her "I love your movies" He added
"Yeah I know who he is" Michael scoffed crossing his arms while glaring at Miguel
"Geez after all those years you're still mad? " Miguel asked, shaking his head
Dana and Wendy looked at each other shrugging their shoulders, not knowing what happened between them
"You better leave now you are still in one piece" Michael told him
"That a treath?" Miguel smirked "You're no competition to me" He added shaking his head
"Take it anyway you want, and we'll see" Michael replied
"Was nice talking to you, like always" Miguel scoffed and turned to Wendy "But me and this lovely lady have to be somewhere" He smiled at her and led her to his car on the driveway
Once the door was closed Dana asked Michael what that was all about
"That piece of shit has the nerve to show up here? " Michael scoffed
"Why is he a piece of shit? He seems nice" Dana mentioned
"Ha, he nice? " Michael laughed sarcastically
"If he isn't, why is my sister with him? " Dana asked him
"Probably he's nice to her and all the other women too" Michael answered
"What do you mean? " Dana asked
"He is the piece of shit that destroyed my relationship with Hannah" Michael scoffed sounding a little hurt
"Hannah Maslow? That ballerina, she's your ex? " Dana asked
"Yes he took her away from me but dumped her a month later or so" Michael answered
"But they said you guys broke up because of the success Thriller got and she couldn't handle it" Dana mentioned
"That's the rumors, but reality is she and that piece of shit fell in love, well she with him because he did had time to take her out while I was working" Michael answered, sounding more hurt than he wanted
"She is nuts" Dana mentioned and hugged him "You know that I'll never leave you and not because of the baby, it's because you're the first person I really, really, really fell in love with" She told him and smiled at him
"Really? " Michael asked her while holding her close
"Yes" Dana nodded "Because you don't care about who I am" She added
"You didn't care about who I am" Michael remindes her
"Nope you were the douchbag that didn't want me" Dana smiled
"And you're the crazy chick that didn't like me when we first met" Michael smiled at her
"Uh huh crazy I am, but only between the sheets" Dana winked at him
"Don't I know that" Michael smirked at her
"Uh huh" Dana smiled wrapping her arms around him
They kissed passionately, completely forgetting Sara is still around in the house somewhere until she walked into the hallway with Sparky and Spotty who stole her shoes
"Sara" Dana gasped letting go of Michael who also looked shocked
"Oh hey here you guys are" Sara replied
- At the restaurant,
Wendy and Miguel enjoyed some salad while talking
"By the way what happened earlier when you picked me up? " Wendy asked taking a bite of her salad
"Oh pff that? " Miguel said "Well Mr superstar is still mad at me because one of his ex girlfriends dated me while he was too busy" He explained
"First of all, his name is Michael and he's my friend, even kind enough to let me and Sara live at his place" Wendy warned him "And secondly, why did you date her if you knew she was with Michael? " She asked him
"Well I didn't know that at the time and nothing happened between us, we just went out, to the movies, musea, stuff like that" Miguel answered
"You sure? " Wendy asked
"Well ok maybe we kissed a little" He admitted "But it was before I knew she dated him"
"But after they broke up you dated her? " Wendy asked
"For a month" Miguel scoffed
"And how are we going to be? Temporary? BEause that's not what I'm looking for" Wendy said crossing her arms
"No I'm really looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with" Miguel promised her
"Let's hope so" Wendy replied, really hoping he did because she likes him a lot
"Please believe me" Miguel mentioned, holding her hand while staring in her eyes
"Ok" Wendy nodded
- At home,
The three of them watched a movie while Dana rested her head on Michael's shoulder while he held her stomach thinking about how life will be once the little one is born
Sara fell asleep halfway during the movie leaning on Michael's other side
Carefully he carried her upstairs and tucked her in once the movie was finished
Dana was already asleep when he came back downstairs so he carried her upstairs as well and lay down next to her holding her close
-- A few hours later,
Around midnight Wendy came back from her date with Miguel
They told each other goodnight and she went upstairs once the car was out of sight and the door locked
She also quickly fell asleep like the rest of the house
