Chapter 32

A few days later,

The news was still talking about the child Diane Djean gave birth to, some of the gossip channels and tabloids said she was a liar but eighty percent of them said Michael and Dana are the ones that lie, because it's quite obvious that little girl is a Jackson so it has to be Michael

Iike there are no other Jackson's besides Michael 

Also no one else had stepped forward and admitted to be the child's father, which only made the gossip channels and tabloids believe even more Michael is the father 

Dana was mostly trying to keep calm but stayed most of the day in bed, she didn't want to be near a TV, radio or anything else where you hear the news 

Of course the whole family had called and said how could he do that Dana? The only ones who didn't believe Diane were Katherine, Janet, La Toya, Marlon, Tito and Jackie  

Cathy had called as well and was on her way to come over and look after her youngest daughter (Dana), Cathy also didn't believe a word of what Diane said, because of her being Dana's enemy and she also knew Michael loves Dana enough and wouldn't cheat on her, even though she knew they weren't really a couple together nine months ago but it would have been a real stupid action to go back to your ex while you're supposed to be in another relationship, plus she loves her soon to be son in law already

Sara said that Diane Djean woman was just a big bully that wanted to hurt her auntie Dana and uncle Michael, so at school she made drawings for Michael and Dana saying she loves them and their baby 

Wendy was now constantly bothered by the press as well, they wanted her opinion on everything, since she's Dana's sister and a friend of Michael, they even wondered if Sara was Michael's daughter since she has a good bond with him, even friends of her and Dana with children were questioned if Michael was the father of their children, they even went as far as asking random single women with newborns at the hospital if Michael was the father of the baby 

Today they would be doing an interview about it, Dana didn't want to do it but would go with Michael to support him and he would mostly do the talking, not that he wanted to do that but he didn't really have a choice, did he? And to prove Diane's daughter wasn't his they had done a DNA test earlier that week and would pick up the results later today after the interview

Arrived at the location they were led into the studio for the interview and had to wait until the interviewer arrived, they took that time to talk and relax a little 

"I hope we get a nice person" Dana signed, resting her head on Michael's shoulder 

"So do I" Michael answered, wrapping an arm around her to hold her close 

"I never like doing this and I pictured our first interview together way differently, you know? " Dana sniffed 

"So did I" Michael replied and wiped her tears carefully not to ruin her makeup 

"You know it's the first time I do an interview with my boyfriend" she smiled "Or well fiancé in this case" She whispered and smiled at him

"There's a first time for everything" Michael smiled at her 

"Hmm true" Dana smiled and kissed him sweetly 

-- Five minutes later -- 

An older looking woman with shoulder length brown hair joined them and introduced herself as Patricia Pearl their interviewer for today and took place on the chair across from the couch they sat on 

"When you guys are ready I'm ready" Mrs Pearl mentioned

"We're ready" Dana answered and sat next to Michael instead of leaning on him 

They did hold each others hand without even noticing they did 

Mrs Pearl welcomed them and had her useal introduction before asking the first question 

"Well I think I'm just going to jump right to the question everyone wants to know" She said and turned to Michael "Are you a hundred percent sure you're not the father of Ms Diane Djean's daughter? " 

"I'm absolutely a hundred percent sure of that" Michael answered  

"How do you explain the fact she does have familiar facial features? " Mrs Pearl asked him

"like Michael is the only male member of the Jackson family?" Dana scoffed, she had enough of it and add pregnancy hormones Into that plus the fact she doesn't like doing interviews 

"So youre saying you know something we don't? " Mrs Pearl asked her  

"No I'm only saying there's no possibility Michael could be the father of that child and if you did your homework you knew he was with me on the red carpet in London! " Dana told her

"I also know Miss Djean was in London as well that week" Mrs Pearl mentioned  

"Why would I want to be with an ex if I'm with my girlfriend?"  Michael asked her

"You wouldn't be the first person to be with both of them" Mrs pearl mentioned

"You, I, my fans, friends and family know I'm not that kind of person"  Michael reminded her

"A lot of people have a secret life no one knows about" Mrs Pearl replied narrowing her eyes at him while she said that 

"Have you ever walked a day in my shoes? Then you would know I don't even have time for that" Michael told her, he also narrowed his eyes at her while saying that 

The production assistants and camera crew said the interview was over before things would get out of hands, since the tension between the couple and the host was almost unbearable and it was clear they weren't friends 

Not long before Michael and Dana left the building and were led to the car by security that waited for them and drove them to the hospital where they would hear if Michael was the father of the child Diane Djean gave birth to earlier that week

Arrived at the hospital they were led to the doctors office and sat down on the other side of her desk 

"Ok the results are you" The Dr began and nodded at Michael "Are-" She continued while Dana was thinking the worse and getting ready to slap him "Not the father but still related to the little girl" The doctor finished calming Dana down 

"What? How? " Michael wanted to know, so did Dana, she also looked curiously at the doctor
