A week later,
Cathy and Sara still were over at Michael and Dana's since Sara won't be needing to go back to school until September and her parents needed some time to talks things over
Of course her mother did come over a few times but her dad never stopped by
Michael and Dana had been their usual selves with only one disagreement this week, sometimes they still are not on the same page but they never show the outside world that, not even Cathy and Sara since they made sure no one was around when they had a disagreement
Dana had been home all week, taking a little break between her latest movie and the next one, she can afford it financially and publicly to take a break every now and then, after all she's been in almost every movie that came out the last twelve months
Michael was busy with work but got a little more time off now he got his assistant Gina who does a wonderful job at the office so he could focus on recording
Tonight would be their first public event as a real couple
A Hollywood gala to raise money for all difrent kind of charities
"How long do you plan on taking a break?" Cathy asked joining Dana on the couch while Sara was outside in the yard playing with the pups
"I don't know yet, but I deserve a break" Dana answered
"Yes you do and the perfect excuse for a break would be expecting a baby" Cathy suggested
"Ugh you're just as bad as Wendy, she keeps saying if I don't get pregnant anytime soon she will look for a way to get herself pregnant again, kind of impressive though with her husband that had a visectomy" Dana answered
"Good for her, because I never like that donor of hers who gave me my first grandchild" Cathy replied
"Donor? Mom she's is in love with him" Dana reminded her
"Ugh why? I mean the dude flew the scene when he found out she was expecting Sara" Cathy scoffed
"I don't know what she sees in him, but he's family wheter you like it or not" Dana sighed
"Yea, well I never thought he would actually marry her but he took her to Vegas" Cathy replied and rolled her eyes
"Yeah, I can't believe he did that" Dana shook her head
"Who did what? " Wendy asked while stepping in
"How did you get in?" Cathy and Dana asked
"Well my brother in law gave me a key" Wendy answered
"I'm not married so he's not you're brother in law" Dana told her
"Not yet" Wendy added
"Whatever" Dana scoffed, rolling her eyes at her
"But you didn't answer my question" Wendy reminded her
"Which one? " Dana asked
"You said you can't believe he did that, so who did what? " Wendy asked
"Oh uh, I forgot" Dana answered
"Alright" Wendy replied, not believing her and went to the yard to greet Sara who hugged her mother
"Have you picked a dress yet for tonight? " Cathy asked Dana while getting them all some drinks
"Uh I can't choose between red or light blue, they're both silk, but I don't know which one is better" Dana answered
