Chapter 13

The next day,

They woke up late in the morning and walked both pups before having breakfast

During their walk they stopped every now and then to steal some kisses

Once they got back from their walk both Sparky and Spotty made themselves comfortable on the pet pillow, to their surprise Sparky accepted Spotty instead of being afraid like usual, maybe because Spotty is just like Sparky a calm pitbull puppy instead of wild jumping dog

Michael and Dana relaxed a little on the couch since both of them had a day off

"Next week will be our first real event as a couple, well as a real couple I mean" Dana mentioned while having her head on his shoulder

"I know" Michael answered cuddling closer to her

"It will be exciting" Dana smiled

Sure they had been on the red carpet together uncountable times the last year, but never as a real couple, they've always faked the whole hugging and smiling thing for the camera's

"It sure is" Michael agreed, the last time he had someone besides him on the red carpet he actually loved was his ex that lied to him and killed their unborn child, besides that back then he didn't know she only used him to have her own career in the business, she's a famous actress herself now, after all she did date a superstar, now she's dating successful business men, she's known as a golddiger in most tabloids and gossip TV shows

Michael and Dana just enjoyed each others company for the rest of the day until their was a knock on the door

"I'll go" Michael mentioned while getting up from the couch

"Then I get us something to eat" Dana suggested also getting up

"Sounds good" Michael answered and went to the door while Dana went to the kitchen

Arrived at the door he opened the door and found a woman he didn't know but somehow she looked familiar to him kind of like a mixture of Dana and Wendy but older

"Um... can I help you ma'm?" He asked

"Didn't my youngest tell you I would come over today" The woman answered

He looked confused at her

"I'm Cathy Jones, your almost family if I've to believe the TV and radio" Cathy smiled and hugged him

"Mother?" Dana asked, smiling when she heard her voice

"Hey there, how's my little big girl" Cathy asked and hugged her youngest daughter

"I'm great, but what are you doing here? I thought you said you would be here for my birthday" Dana mentioned

"I know but that's like three weeks away and I wanted to have some mother daughter time and I'm here anyway until the day after your birthday and then I'll go back to Hawaii where my new boyfriend lives" Cathy explained

After Cathy got pregnant with Dana her boyfriend at the time, Wendy and Dana's father left her because one child was already too much for him, Cathy raised both of her girls on her own and they turned out to be wonderful young women, of course she also helped her oldest raising her daughter for the first year when George didn't want to know anything about Sara since he actually didn't want to have any children, but knowing he had a daughter he got back in contact and Cathy told him to marry Wendy if he ever wants to be part of Sara's life or her Wendy's life

"Wow can I meet him? " Dana asked

"Soon, but I first need to know if he's really into wanting to live with a woman who got two grownup daughter's" Cathy answered
