He parked the car right infront of the warehouse. The street was dark. No one to be seen, not even any street lamp. The only light source was his headlamp.
He whipped his phone out for the torchlight and slowly went into the warehouse. He was scared.
A masked man sitting in the middle of the warehouse, under dim light.
"I have the money. Let him go!" Sunghoon shouted.
"Let me see the money first"
Sunghoon steps forward about to go over to the man but was stopped in his tracks when the man shot a bullet to the spot less than 5cm away from sunghoon
"Toss the bag over"
Sunghoon with no hesitance, throws the bag over to him
The man checked the bag and smirked under his mask, not that anyone could see it.
"Very well we will release him" the man said as he sent a text to someone. Turns his back and walks to the other exit
"Where is he" sunghoon asked sternly
"Well he's somewhere. You just have to" the man stops and turn back to look at sunghoon
"Have to what!?" The pause made sunghoon feel anxious
"Find his" the man shrugged and continued to walk out.
Sunghoon guessed that Jay might be in this warehouse. So he ran about, searched high and low on every floor.
It was dark, he was scared, he was alone. But for jay, he had no fears.
He couldn't find him. His throat was also sore from shouting for Jay
He gave up. He came to the conclusion that Jay was not in this warehouse. Just as he was about to leave, he got a phone call which confirmed his hunch.
"Is this park sunghoon?"
"Yes ? Who is this?"
"We are calling from good faith park hospital and would like to inform you that your husband is currently in the A&E"
"What!?"
Today was simply one shock after another for sunghoon, he might not be able to take it.
"I'll be there soon"
He quickly hung up and made his way over
Rushed over to the reception and a nurse brings him to Jay, who was being examined by one of the doctors.
"How is he!"
"You are?" the doctor asked.
"I am his husband. How is he?"
"He's not doing very well. He got several bruises on the outside, a fracture on his arm and bleeding in the back of his skull. We need to perform surgery to prevent this from getting more serious"
"Do it doctor! Do anything! Save him!"
"I'll get the nurse to bring you the papers"
"Thank you doctor thank you" he continuously bowed as the doctor walked away
He then turn to look at jay, who is laying there with plasters all over his body, looking weak, the iv drip and O2 mask.
Sunghoon felt so hurt looking at him like that
"What happened to you" he said as he gently stroked jay's head
Jay opened his mouth but no words came out, he didn't have enough strength to speak.
"It's fine just rest" he said while tucking jay in and sitting down on the chair beside the bed
"You'll be fine jay ya"
