Chapter Eighteen

Addison, Lucas, and Blaze sat by me the whole week. From Addison's sassy comments to Lucas jokes and Blaze's mood swings, they made me smile and laugh a lot. Luckily for me, no one had talked about Lucas' birthday and tried to persuade me to come to hang out with them
I didn't want to interfere with their hang out

I received glares in the hallways and during class because I was hanging out with the popular crowd. I had gone from being the invisible loner to the attention-seeking whore

I'm currently in my Spongebob pjs, my face stuffed into my plush comforter
We had our usual morning of watching movies and mum got an off day because she caught a cold. She went back to bed immediately after the movie

My door burst open and Blaze strides into my room confidently. He walks into my room like it's a usual routine we do. He smirks at me, staring at me in my PJs

"What the hell are you doing in my room", I ask regaining my voice

" I don't see you doing your homework or laundry"

"I don't see how that is your business. Who led you to my room, who even opened the front door to let you in"

" C bra cups Belle, I underestimated you, he says waving my bra above his head"

I almost fall flat on my face running to snatch my bra from him.

" I don't know what you are doing here but get out of my room,"

Ignoring me, he moves to where my books are stacked and begins to flip through them

"Belle, he says flipping through Alisha Rai's " Hate To Want You" and raising a brow at me, I didn't know you read erotic novels. I underestimated you goody two shoes." I scowl and snatch the book from him.

"Well, that's because you don't know me"

"Then, that has to change". The same look appears in his eyes and I feel like he's pulling me towards him until he clears his throat

" I came to tell you to get ready"

"Get ready for what"

He looks at me like he expects me to know.
" Lucas' birthday surprise, get ready. We're running late"

"I don't remember agreeing to come with you guys"

"No, you didn't but I  do remember saying it wasn't a request and that if I was going to abduct you then that was what I was going to do"

"No, you never said that"

"So, he continues ignoring me, I got Stephanie's number from my Dad and that's how  I am here"

"When did you get on a first-name basis with my mum"

"Just one of my many charms, and by the way how is Brandon your brother? You both have different personalities "

"When did you meet Brandon", I ask shocked

" We've been here for an hour"

"Why didn't no one tell me"

"We wanted to wait until we had a few minutes to go. If we had told you earlier, you'll probably try to run away. Time's running, go get ready while I make myself comfortable on your bed"

"If you want me to change, get out"

"I'm not stupid Belle, you'll try escaping"

"Blaze, I am not going to run. This isn't a game"

"Whatever you say. We're waiting downstairs but if after ten minutes, you don't come down I'm–

" Blaze honey", Mum calls downstairs
