Then I awoke to bird song but no Edward which didn't surprise me.

The creatures that hunted for blood never slept, I pitied them really, they'd never get to dream.

It wasn't that I didn't wake up to Edward, the house was too silent. With them as quiet as they are, I would have been able to sense them, no one was here, I didn't even have to check. I sat on the steps, steadily staring the window when I saw them all appear in the clearing with large smiles on their faces, following behind them was a grumpy Bella that I knew I'd have to put to rest tonight.

My decision was final and I'm pretty sure Alice already saw this; from what I've gathered she's a seer who can only notice a change when decisions change, I was gonna have to fix that. When they made it in, I stayed seated on the steps staring out the window, lost in my imagination and the dirty dreams I've been having.

Sadly, I haven't told him that I'm in heat, but it's only because I haven't had the chance to. Too much has taken over my mind, the nagging feeling that something was gonna happen. "Alice, I would like to give you something." I finally looked to the rest of the, feeling Edward by my side in the next instant.

"Yes, Evie?" She danced over with a confused yet excited expression.

good, hopefully, she'll put the enhancement  to good use.

I stood slowly and placed both of my hands on the side of her head, my thumbs directly over her third eye. I closed my eyes and stood still as I opened up her gift, giving it more potential. Instead of seeing futures based on decisions that others would or have made, she'd be able to see regardless of that. When I finally let go, she flinched with a yelp, holding either side of her head, groaning.

"What did you..." She didn't have to say anymore, I put my finger to my lips and winked at her, she, in turn, squealed happily with a smile.

Edward's arms wound around my hips, pulling me securely against him as he buried his nose into my neck.

there's something I have to take care of....

I gave Edward a knowing look watching his cold face harden.

He shook his head as he watched me. "Hold off on that." He said aloud, gently stroking my cheek.

I rolled my eyes and glared at the ground. " Fucking hell." I grumbled hearing Esme gasp. " why are you so vulgar, I didn't know anyone could cuss much worse than Emmett." Her golden eyes seemed to become piercing and I found myself looking away, not because what I did was wrong, but because she reminded me of my mother when she scolded me.

"I apologize." I gave a slight bow before turning into Edward's side, staring into nothing.

I think we should take some time away from everyone else, I want to know all that I can about you.

He lifted my chin as he looked into my eyes, his plea was all I could hear. I blinked lizard-like and tilted my head to the side.

as you wish...

I wove my fingers through him, dragging him out the door. Just so Bella couldn't follow us from any exits, with a subtle flick of my wrist I placed a ward over the entire house, keeping her confined to the compound.

As soon as she subtly tried to get out of the front door to follow after, she shrieked from the amount of electricity that shocked her.

I wonder when she's gonna realize I took her shield away?

*******

In silence, we walked to my home which wasn't too far away from them, once we broke through the tree line, my backyard was visible to both me and him.

With another subtle flick of my hand just in case, Bella found a way out[which was highly unlikely] I put one up around the house, walking in, glancing back at him.

"There's something I need to tell you." I sat on the tabletop, swinging my legs loosely back and forth as he stood facing me in the middle of my kitchen, his bushy brows raised.

"And that is what, Eve?" He tilted his head as he slipped his hands into his pocket, slowly walking towards me. I shuddered at the look in his eyes, reminded yet again that for right now him being this close in my proximity was a bad idea.

I wanted to tear into him, my instincts were on a rage quit, I knew once I started he wouldn't leave my home. This family would be left to wonder what the hell happened to him.

"I'm in heat." I brushed my hair from my face and looked up into his eyes watching him freeze mid-step, his brows furrowed. He gave his heart-stopping crooked smile and crossed his arms over his chest. "That explains some things. Especially your vulgar wet dreams." He gave a dark chuckle and was standing in front of me moments later, trapping me on the table.

I stared up at him in wonder, his bold behavior causing me to growl lowly. He had no idea how much this turned me on.   "Edward... If you don't move, I'll be forced to take you." I whispered, feeling my abnormally sharp teeth elongate, peeking between my parted plump lips. He started down at my teeth for a moment, his golden eyes turning obsidian before blazing a fiery gold. They seemed to glow as he looked me over, a smirk playing on his lips.

"It's not raping if I want it. If you want to send me away, try harder than that, my precious Eve." His hands gently but firmly grasped either side of my face, his body curling over mine just as the sun peeked through the window. At that moment I was blinded by his dazzling skin, my hands pressed firmly against his chest as he made their way in between my legs. He rested there over my body and in my warmth, starting at me in wonder.

He stayed glimmering in the sunlight before it was covered by the clouds leaving him a pale bronze mannequin resting above me.

"Are you saying you want me to rape you? Are you even a virgin?!" I tilted my head with a funny disturbed look on my face, his expression contorting. "I haven't slept with Bella, no matter how many times she tried to get me to." He shook his head, a disapproving look on his face. "Never in a million years. Now if she decided she wanted to trap me and take me by force, that would be rape."

He shuddered, sticking his tongue out as if he could throw up. " thinking about that makes my skin crawl. I'd kill her first."

His goody smile disappeared as he stared down at me yet again, his cold thumbs soothingly against my cheek.

"I want you to do whatever you please with me. I don't have to worry about hurting you, just wait until I marry you." His expression remained serious as he stared down into my silver serpentine gaze. I stared back up at him stunned, never once hearing the word marriage when it came to my love and happiness.

" Why would you...." I trailed off unable to finish the sentence. He smiled and shook his head. "You're the other half of me, the true another half. I love you for everything that you are. Why wouldn't I want to marry you?" He frowned a bit, dumbfounded by my unexpected reaction. He sighed and shook his head after a while. " Give yourself more credit, you deserve happiness."
