~Stiles~
I saw it disappear at the tree line. I couldn't help it. I have to follow this thing. I looked towards my door, I hope my dad's asleep. I focused my hearing on him. I could hear him snore from his room, he's out cold. He's been working too hard lately, he deserves his rest.

Opening my window a rush of mighty wind flows in blowing on my face and scattering some papers I have on my study table. I didn't care, I have to find this thing.

I carefully jumped out, landing with a soft thud so dad can't hear. I look towards the darkness overhead. With a sigh of uncertainty I bound through the forest, pitch black filled my human vision so I changed it to my fox's to see properly.

I kept running till the middle of the forest. I looked around, nothing there. I couldn't even smell anything different in the air, how is that possible? Does this thing not have a scent?

I felt something fall from above me. It was wet. Then it fell again and again till it fell everywhere. It was raining. I kept walking till I came to the road. The rain was so heavy that it was blinding my sight.

I was in the middle of the road between two forest lines. I looked around me, unable to find anything. Then I smelt something, something unbearable like extreme sadness. I looked behind me only to find my eyes widening in terror.

It was infront of me. It was right infront of me. Just a few steps away. The rain falling down on his body, trickling away, sliding on every curve. He was just wearing boxers. He was just a teenage boy.

The look in his eyes. He looked terrified.

"Are you okay?" I asked moving a little closer only to have him moving back a few steps.

The more steps I took towards him the more steps he took moving away from me. So it decided to try something different. I moved back a little,he moved towards me a little.

I beckoned him to come closer to me, and he did. He moved closer, his hand reaching for mine.

"Stiles step away from that thing!"

I looked begind me to find Chris ready with a crossbow, aiming towards me, no not me, him, the boy. Surprised at Chris's untimely arrival, the boy caught me off guard and locked me from behind, his claws out ready to claw out my neck.

Chris's got worried. He tried to aim and shoot but didn't want to hurt me in the process. At the corner of my eye I could see the boy distracted. So I quickly unhooked myself from his grip and pushed him back. At the same time Chris released like two arrows accidentally.

"Stiles!" he screamed. It was too late.

It was coming for me. It was flying towards me. This is it. This is how I die. I hope my dad will be okay without me. Oh my gosh, what about my babies. I'm never going to meet my babies. All these thoughts flowing all at once. I close my eyes. Ready for what's to come.

All of a sudden within a split of a second I felt two hands grab me, and laid me down. I didn't feel any impact on me. What happened? I squinted as the rain was still falling. Looking up I see a figure towering above me. Derek was holding me crouching above me, he breathed heavily.

I couldn't help but worry. I could see two arrows sticking out from his back. He just looked at me and smiled. He looked behind him to see Chris running towards us.

"You okay?"

"Be careful with your arrows when around Stiles."

"I will, I'm so sorry. Don't worry they don't have any poison in them. It's just meant to wound like any normal arrow."

Derek sits me up while Chris moves behind Derek and pulls out the arrows making Derek grunt angrily.

Together we made our way to Chris's car. While driving I couldn't help but think about the boy. I wonder where he is.

"Why were you hunting that boy?" I asked.

"I wasn't hunting it, I was trying to apprehend it."

"Still sounds like hunting it."

"I wasn't, ugh, I was trying to capture it so it didn't hurt anybody. It was running around feral. I was planning to capture it and keep it till I could release him again. That was until you came along."

"Why were you outside this late anyway?" Derek asked from the passenger seat.

"It was watching me from my room"

"IT WAS WHAT?!" Derek's scream was enough to make Chris swerve a little. "And you decided to follow it? Sometimes I can't believe you." I couldn't help but smile at that comment in which he did too.

"So what was he anyway?"

"He's a wendigo, they're flesh eating monsters. Apperently someone might have ticked that one off."

"He looked pretty scared, it seemed like he was running from something."

"Or someone" Derek finished. I couldn't help but think. Is there something out there? Something more dangerous that supernatural creatures should run from? I hope that boy is okay.

Chris dropped me and Derek off at my place. Apparently someone got a little more protective when they heard that someone had been staring at their mate through their window.

We snuck together through my still opened window. Closing it and ensuring it was locked tight, Derek drew the blinds. We both got in to take a hot bath after the cold rain outside. I gave him a change of big sized boxers that fit him that my dad bought accidently one time. And shorts that stretched when you wore them so he's okay... for now I guess.

I changed too and we both snuggled up in my bed. His arm outstretched beneath my pillow that was under my head.

I couldn't help myself. I threw away my pillow, laid on his arm and snuggled closer to him. This was better. I could feel him smiling. He leaned down and kisses my forehead.

"Goodnight sweetie," he whispered. Butterflies fluttered throughout my entire body.

"Goodnight babe" I whispered back. I was surprised when he turned me, my back on the bed. He knelt down on top of me and pushed up my shirt just a little.

He leaned down and kissed my stomach. "Goodnight my babies" he whispered. He came back down and returned us to our former position.

I smiled, then we drifted off into space, sleeping ever so peacefully.

The hospital doors opened. The wendgo walked in. He was terrified and hungry. He kept walking, went past doors and nurses.

He looked around, then he saw it. A perfect prey. He saw his prey talking to someone. Must be his dad, he thought.

The boy, his prey finished talking to his dad and walked, he looked sad. He didn't exit the building, instead he went up the stairwell. He was making his way on top of the building.

The wendigo followed after. Licking his lips. Ready for his meal.
