You didn't sleep much, maybe an hour or so. With no concept of time, you can't know for sure, but you're feeling the lack of sleep. The thought of a group out there that wants you dead has put you on edge.

Violet: Didn't sleep well last night, huh?

You: No.

You're heading in the direction of the caravan. It's early morning; the sun was just rising as you left the school.

Violet: Nervous?

You: Yeah. I don't know these people.

Violet: They know you, so you surely know them, right?

You: No clue. These people may not even be related to the guy that shot me.

Violet: Either way, they still may want us all dead.

You: It'll make my life so much easier if it was just the one guy.

Violet: I bet.

You can hear walkers all around you. It's worrying, but you push it to the back of your mind. You haven't seen any yet, and you have bigger fish to fry.

Violet: Are you going to stay?

You: I don't know.

Violet: Progress. That's better than a no.

You: Still could be a no.

Violet: I think you should stay. Clementine does too.

You: I'm aware.

Violet: You don't really know anyone else, but they want you to stay too.

You: They don't know me. That's stupid.

Violet: But Clementine and I have vouched for you. They probably prefer being on your good side too.

You: Not sure why.

Violet: Well, you murdered a guy while you were starved and shot. And I've seen your scars. The one on your back is nasty.

You: Whips are nasty.

Violet: What?

You: I was whipped.

Violet: A whip did that?

You: It was lined with glass, rocks, nails, and other sharp things.

Violet: Damn. Why?

You: I stole some supplies.

Violet: And that's how they punished you?

You: I killed someone too.

Violet: Ah. What happened after they whipped you?

You: I killed them all.

Violet: How many?

You: Twenty-three, I believe.

Violet: And you killed them all?

You: It was dark and raining. They couldn't see me... I got lucky.

Violet: Remind me not to get on your bad side.

You start looking through the trees around you. You don't see anything, but you hear the walkers.

You: Where's the kid?

Violet: No clue.

You: I thought he was coming.

Violet: He is. I just don't know where he's at.

You: Wait.

Violet: What?
