Kike's POV

I kept frowning at Remi as she kept laughing and echoing those words in my ears over and over again.

"I loff you, Kike. I say, I loff you."She continued teasing me as I couldn't help but find how she mimicked him funny.

"Stop jhor. It's not funny" I told her for the umpteenth time.

"Why? But I loff you, na. I've fallen in loff with you" Remi teased as she bursted out in a fit of laughter at er her last utterance.

It would have been extremely funny if I wasn't the one being teased.

I shouldn't have told her sef.

My face was faking a frown though a smile was still evident in my lips.

"I will slap you now o... Shebi it's my fault, it's me that told you" I told her, playfully as she did a lip seal impression before wriggling her eyebrows at me.

"Oya, sorry na!.... What did you even say?" She apologised before asking as I suddenly turned silent.

I was also shocked at the occurrence too.

"I have fallen in love with you Kikelomo" He said with a mixture of emotions in his eyes as shock engulfed me.

I didn't want to believe it because it sounded more like a lie than the truth.

Why was he doing this?

Why is he playing with my emotions?

I convinced myself it was a lie and has he looked into my eyes, he could clearly see the fact that I knew he was lying.

Suddenly, his eyes held hurt and other emotions I couldn't decipher before he immediately just turned around and walked right out the door.

And his walking out brought back his words again to my head and I couldn't help but imagine what if it was true.

"Damnnn!! You must have hurt him real bad" Remi commented as she shook her head.

What!!!

"What?!" I asked as I felt like I couldn't quite hear what she had just said.

She looked at me as if oblivious to the fact that her statement got me pissed.

"Uhn?!..... Oh, I said you must have..." She started off as I cut her off.

"I heard what you said! But I can't believe you could utter that" I told her honestly as she held a little smile.

"He, he hurt me. He hurt me, over, over and over again. And you say I hurt him? You even added'real badʼ" I said scoffing in disbelief as Remi plainly just looked back at me.

"Look, Kike. You are hurt, I get it. But don't you think he is hurt too?" Remi said passively as she suddenly opened a pack of gum and put one in her mouth.

She clearly thinks this is some joke.

He hurt my feelings. And he is still hurting me, playing some stupid joke, talking about feelings.

If I kick him, those ironical feelings would fade away.

"You know what? I'm just not going to talk to you right now."I said, maybe overreacting a bit but she clearly didn't see my perspective.

Remi chuckled as she smacked the gum in her mouth loudly.

"You actually think you are the only one that is pained in this whole situation" She said now grabbing her phone.
