I stood in front of my mirror admiring my suit. I had paired it with a pair of white star earrings to finish off the look. I smiled and walked out of my room.
"I thought you were going to wear a dress," Mark asked when I walked downstairs.
"I changed my mind. Wasn't really feeling it y'know?" I asked sitting next to him at the table
"I get it. Have you seen Clay lately?" Mark asked, grabbing a drink from the fridge.
"He's been out with his new friends all day. I mean, at least he has friends that aren't online."
"True. He never really acted as if he'd make friends easily."
"Yeah," I laughed. "We should get going. It starts in thirty minutes. I can drive us if you want," I offered
"No it's fine. I'll be riding with some friends." He said
"Alrighty then. I go on my bike."
I stood up and walked to me room I grabbed a white purse and put some necessary items inside. Lipstick, perfume, hair ties, etc. I sat on my desk and put my hair in a ponytail.

"Perfect. This'll piss him off enough." I said
I headed downstairs towards the front door.
"I'm going to leave a little earlier so I can meet up with Melody." I called out
"Alright just be safe,"
"Thanks I will"
I slipped on my heels and headed toward my bike. I grabbed my helmet and put it on. I started the bike and started to drive away.
TIME SKIP
I parked my bike in the school parking lot. I saw Melody standing at the entrance with her phone in hand. When she saw me she ran up and gave me a hug.
"Oh my gosh you look to pretty!" She said
"Thanks girl, I absolutely love your dress." I said back
She was wearing a short, knee length light purple dress.

"Are you ready to go in yet?" She asked
"Yep" I smiled
"We walked inside and headed towards the gym. The dance had just started and people were flooding in. I stood in place as I admired the room. I stood there for a few seconds but was interrupted by a voice.
"What the hell are you wearing?"
"Just the man I wanted to see, hi Lin"
