UNFORTUNATELY
Depends on the therapist.

"I'm almost there." Sam spoke over the intercoms as Bucky and Odessa made their way towards the building.

Odessa linked her hand with Bucky's and smiled up to him. Hopefully, after this, they would be able to rest and just enjoy their lives for a little while with no more fighting. She hoped to take her siblings somewhere nice with Bucky. Heck, she'd even be open to the idea of starting a family with the man, after all he is the one for her.

"What's the plan?" Bucky questioned, smiling towards the pretty brunette, wondering what she was thinking about.

"Karli's gotta be close. Keep your eyes open." Sam responded quickly.

"Well, it could be anybody." Odessa uttered as she looked around the crowded sidewalk.

Odessa couldn't help but feel nervous as they walked up to the officers, she wondered if they'd even let them pass. Bucky gave the girls hand a comforting squeeze as he continued walking.

"Sergeant Barnes. Miss Kingsley." The officer nodded and stepped out of the way, allowing the couple to walk past.

The brunette looked up to Bucky with a smile, that was the first time anyone had acknowledged his ranking. But he seemed to have other things on his mind.

"And by the way, I called in some backup." Sam quickly stated.

"Excuse me, Sir. Are you supposed to be here?" A man spoke, causing Bucky to turn and looked at him with a tight jaw. Only for the man to pull off the mask and reveal himself to intact he Sharon. "It's me."

"Sharon, what the hell are you doing here?" Bucky questioned curiously.

"My thoughts exactly." Odessa uttered, shuffling closer to Bucky.

His grip on the girls hand tightened as he pulled her int front of him, pressing his lips to Odessa temple and softly smiling.

"Relax, no ones looking for me here." Sharon spoke as she grabbed Bucky's bicep and guided him away from the crowd on the off chance that she would be recognised.

"Do I hear Sharon?" Sam questioned curiously.

Both Bucky and Odessa shared a look, the dark haired man allowed a small smirk to play on his face, thinking that Sharon didn't have an intercom as he said,

"Unfortunately."

"Hey Sam. I thought I'd get the band back together." Sharon spoke over her intercom, causing Odessa to burst out laughing.

Bucky's eyes widened as the officers turned to face them with confused looks. The man offered the officers a warm smile as he used his hand to cover up Odessa's mouth and quieten her laughter.

"Thank you, you're risking a lot coming here." Continued Sam.

"I hear pardons aren't all they're cracked up to be." Sharon spoke as she looked towards Bucky.

Odessa tilted her head back and pursed her lips. Bucky let go of a soft chuckle before connecting their lips momentarily. It reminded him of when they were on the run and Steve helped them back in 2016, but that felt like a million years ago now.

"Depends on the therapist." Bucky uttered back in response, his grip on Odessa tightening as he watched a small smile form on her face.

"They'll move on the building soon. Be ready." Sam added over the intercoms.

The brown haired girl tilted her head back, resting it against Bucky's chest as she watched Sam fly around the building. She couldn't help but smile once she saw him in his new suit.

"Dess, Bucky, Sharon, what's going on your end?" Sam questioned over the comms as he hovered over one of the flag smashers.

"Nothing all quiet." Bucky responded, pulling Odessa closer as she linked their hands whilst they walked towards the building.

The three of them knew they needed to get inside in order to help Sam. He wouldn't be able to take the flash smashers on alone, no matter if he was Captain America now or not. He needed their help.

"No ones moving towards the building." Sharon added.

"Karli's not coming in. She's trying to force everybody out." Sam spoke calmly, "It's a misdirect-" Sam's comms cut out momentarily.

"Sam?" Odessa spoke anxiously as everything went radio silent. All that could be heard was static. "Are you there?" Another long silent pause. "Samuel Thomas Wilson if you don't answer me so help me Go-"

"You guys are gonna have to do something." Sam spoke, instantly filling Odessa with relief.

The girl walked through the metal detector with no issues, she stepped aside and waited for Bucky and Sharon. The two followed closely behind, setting off the metal detector. The girl furrowed her brows, wondering how it was set off since Bucky's arm was made of vibranium.

"Oops?" Sharon shrugged.

"There's one of them." Bucky pointed out, ignoring the alarm from the metal detector. "I'll get the evac."

"I'll head towards the GRC staff. I'll get them out." Odessa offered as she went to walk away.

Bucky grabbed the girls wrist and pulled her back. He cupped her face and connected their lips, he was terrified that after every mission they wouldn't see one another again.

"I love you, Cherry, beyond words, beyond reason and beyond doubt." Bucky whispered against her lips.

Odessa ran her thumb along Bucky's stubble, she plastered a smile on her face, understanding his worry and anxiety.

"I love you too, Buck." She paused hesitantly. "I'll see you soon."

She hated leaving him, especially on missions. She hated worrying about whether he's going to make it back to her safety or not.

Slowly, the girl backed away and headed towards the east stairwell.
