Orphaned young and raised Irish-American, Josephine Dare learns early how to endure loss. Drawn to medicine for its order and purpose, she enters the U.S. Army as a surgeon just as the world descends into war. On December 7, 1941, Josephine is stationed at Pearl Harbor when the attack begins. Shot amid the chaos, she refuses evacuation and continues operating, saving lives long after her strength should have failed. By nightfall, her actions have already become legend. She survives the Pacific Theater, carrying the weight of relentless casualties and impossible decisions, before being transferred to England, where she is embedded with the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment-Easy Company. There, war becomes intimate and unrelenting, measured in mud, blood, and exhausted men who trust her with their lives. Among paratroopers hardened by combat, Josephine becomes a constant presence-a healer who never looks away, even as the cost of survival carves itself into her bones. Each operation leaves its mark. Each loss follows her into the dark. As the fighting intensifies, Josephine must confront the truth no training can prepare her for: courage does not make one invincible. How much can a single person endure before the weight of war finally breaks them? Now returned from the Pacific and sent to England, Elsa is assigned as regimental surgeon to the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, men preparing for an invasion few expect to survive. Among paratroopers and officers hardened by loss, she becomes their constant-patching bodies, steadying nerves, and carrying the weight of every life placed in her hands. But endurance has its limits. As D-Day approaches, Elsa begins to confront the cost of survival, the quiet damage left by heroism, and the terrifying truth that even the strongest can break.

The steppe breathes in silence. An ocean of grass, dark and endless, trembling under the cold wind. And in the middle of that vastness - a single body. A soldier. Broken. Still. His uniform, once proud and sharp, now hangs from him like memory - torn cloth, dried mud, the faint shadow of blood. War has stripped it of its glory. It is only fabric now. Heavy. Tired. A few steps away, his cap lies in the grass, tilted on its side, as though even it has abandoned him. He stares upward. The sky is unbearably wide. Flooded with stars. Too many stars. Too alive for a night like this. Blue moonlight spills over his face, washing the world of warmth, of mercy. Everything is cold. Colorless. Real. The wind moves through the steppe like a whispering ghost, bending the grass around him, brushing past his boots, his hands, his unmoving chest. He does not rise. He does not call out. He simply watches the sky - as if searching for something that used to belong to him. A home. A voice. Her. Tears gather slowly in his eyes, then fall sideways into the earth, vanishing without a trace. No sobs. No screams. Only that terrible, quiet grief - the kind that hollows a man from the inside. As if the war did not shoot him... ...but erased him. The steppe stretches on forever. The stars burn indifferently. And beneath them, he lies small and fragile, like a memory the world is already beginning to forget.

Der Adler, der Wolf, und die Sonne: Die Geschichte des Stahlpakts (The Eagle, the Wolf, and the Sun: The History of the Pact of Steel) Book 1: "Peace" Covering the years from 1936 through 1941, Book One of "The Eagle, the Wolf and the Sun: The History of the Pact of Steel" discusses the rise of the German and Italian war machines, the Reich's and Italy's territorial gains made through diplomatic means, as well as the wars in Spain, Greece and China. Overall Description: For the first time, a thorough research project with the support of the National Archives of Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Japan and the United States have flung open their doors to the premier students of the world's most serious conflict and allowed them to assemble in a cognitive work that ranks amongst the greatest historical works of the most famous students of History of all time--Herodotus, Thucydides, Livy, Caesar, Mahan, Massie, and others. A DISCLAIMER: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, locales, and incidents are either the products of the author's imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. Furthermore, all images, charts, artwork or other digital media are employed under a Fair Use for comment and remain the property of their respective owners. This is going to be a mixed "Gameplay/Roleplay" Historical AAR. I, as the player, will not be doing (much) gamey stuff; I find it rather repugnant to min/max divisions or anything like that, but I do recognize the limits of the game. Basic Game Info: HoI3:TFH 4.02 Normal/Normal, playing as Germany, Italy and (though not until 1941) Japan. By 1943, upped to Hard difficulty.

I know it won't be perfect but I try not to make it sound ametuer like a lot of books on here. I'm always looking to improve my writing, so any comments and suggestions are always welcome. Also, I am not an expert or at all well-versed in Nazi Germany history, so if anyone notices any inaccuracies, please point it out! I don't know how often I'll update, as of now there is no fixed schedule. I hope you enjoy! All writing is my property, no reproducing without my consent.

This is a fictional journal about what von kriplespac from Conker would write. I decided to put 2 stories in this. One where he writes in his journal each time they claim a victory. And the other where he writes in his journal each time they lose a battle or war. So mainly this is just a journal he would write in.
