SOKOVIA
White Wolf and Penitent theif.

Odessa's eyes fluttered open and she quickly shot up once she realised she was on a jet. Panic flooded her as she looked around for Bucky. The man heard he'd rushed breathing and quickly ran to her side. His hand cupped her bruised face and his eyes softened.

"Hey, Cherry." His whispered, his voice was so gentle and soothing. "You we're out for a few ours. We're heading to Sokovia. There's a few things I think I need to say to Zemo."

The girl slowly nodded as she rested her head against Bucky's chest, her head was pounding and her he's felt insanely heavy.

"Do you want to do it alone?" Odessa whispered as his fingers combed through her hair.

Bucky pondered upon the thought for a moment. He had been preparing to do it alone because she was unconscious, but now she was awake and able to stand by his side through this like she did everything else.

"No, will you come with me?" Bucky seemed almost shy when he asked and it caused the corner of Odessa's lips to curl upwards.

The girl nodded, she'd to anything to make him happy. She didn't want him to feel like he was going through everything alone.

Bucky grabbed Odessa's hand and placed his gun in the other. He pulled the girl as close as possible in fear that something would happen to her again and he wouldn't be able to help her.

"I thought you'd be here sooner." Zemo spoke up once the couple stood looking at him. "Don't worry, I've decided I'm not going to kill you both."

"Imagine my relief." Bucky spoke coldly, although he did feel relief at the fact that Odessa wouldn't be hurt, not that Zemo could hurt her anyway.

Zemo turned to face them, so the couple now had his full attention. His eyes flickered down to the gun that was held so tightly in Bucky's hands.

"The girl has been radicalised beyond salvation. I warned Sam, but he didn't listen to me. He's as stubborn as Steve Rogers before him." Zemo paused, noticing the way that Bucky's grip tightened on Odessa's hand. "But you, they literally programmed you to kill. James, do what needs to be done."

"That's enough of that." Odessa snapped standing forward, despite Bucky not even showing any emotion to Zemo's words, she knew that it still affected him.

Zemo put his hands up in defence, not wanting to argue with the girl. He knew that she too was trained by HYDRA, just not as long as Bucky was.

"Karli has people everywhere, and there is only one way to make sure she cannot continue her mission." He continued.

"We appreciate the advice." Bucky responded, there was a harsh coldness in the tone of his voice. "But we're gonna do it our own way."

Odessa ran her thumb over Bucky's knuckles and she felt him physically relax. She knew that this would be hard for him. But she also knew that he was strong enough to do it.

"Yeah. I was afraid you would say that." Zemo looked towards the ground.

Bucky flicked the safety off of the gun and raised the gun to point towards Zemo. Odessa took a small step back and noticed the way that Zemo didn't even look frightened when the gun was pointed at his head.

He nodded as if he was going to greet death like he was an old friend. Bucky pulled the trigger and Zemo didn't even flinch. But instead of a billet flying out and hitting him, the gun just clicked.

The dark haired man lowered the gun with a cocky expression, knowing that Zemo actually wanted to die in order to see his family again. Bucky looked back towards Odessa who offered him a closed lipped smile as Bucky dropped the bullets that were once in the gun.

Not even seconds later, the Dora Milaje walked towards them. Zemo looked between Odessa and Bucky before sighing,

"Ladies." He paused. "I took the liberty of crossing off my name in your book. I hold no grudges for what you thought you had to do. Goodbye, James." He turned and looked towards Odessa. "Odessa."

Ayo waited behind for a moment, and looked towards Bucky and Odessa before saying,

"We will take him to the Raft, where he will live out his days. It would be prudent to make your scarce in Wakanda for the time being, White Wolf and Penitent theif."

"Oh is that sticking?" Odessa rolled her eyes before letting a sad smile form on her face, she missed Wakanda and how easy her and Bucky's life was while she was there. Bucky noticed the way her face fell and wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her into his chest.

"Fair enough." He muttered almost reluctantly as he watched Ayo walk away. "Hey. We may have another favour to ask of you."
