"He won't talk to anyone", grumpy spoke softly and bent down slowly to sit on the couch.

"Well! That's why I am here", with that Jimin takes off his shoes and barges into the house, but stops in tracks to turn to the old man, "Ah! I almost forgot. The letter you wrote and crumpled it down. I ironed it and safely delivered it to the granny next door. You will get good news soon." Jimin gave one last glance and winked at grumpy before he left upstairs.

The old man cursed his fate that got stuck in the hands of a kid he met a few seconds ago. But, he felt a smile crept over his lips thinking about the letter and the granny's reaction.

Knock knock

Jimin softly knocked on the door with the back of his knuckles.

"Grandpa, I told you I m not hungry", a feeble voice that was almost inaudible came from the other side of the door.

Jimin gulped as he slowly pushed the door that was open.

He eyes wandered around, the lights were off with everything thrown over the floor. Tissues fallen all over. His heart shattered as his eyes caught onto the boy who was snuggled up in the bedsheets sniffing and sobbing with puffy red eyes.

He looked so broke.
