Breathe You In

Začať od začiatku

And how can I stand here with you
And not be moved by you
Would you tell me
How could it be
Any better than this

And how can I stand here with you
And not be moved by you
Would you tell me
How could it be
Any better than this

Cause you're all I want
You're all I need
You're everything, everything

You're all I want
You're all I need
You're everything, everything

You're all I want
You're all I need
You're everything, everything

You're all I want
You're all I need
You're everything, everything

And how can I stand here with you
And not be moved by you
Would you tell me
How could it be
Any better than this

And how can I stand here with you
And not be moved by you
Would you tell me
How could it be
Any better, any better than this

And how can I stand here with you
And not be moved by you
Would you tell me
How could it be
Any better than this

Would you tell me
How could it be
Any better than this

"That's about me?" I asked when she finished playing.

"They all are Marie." She said as she leaned over and sat the guitar down on the floor next to the bed.

"I think it's my favorite." I confessed as she laid her head against my stomach.

"Mine too." She smiled.

I stroked her hair as we laid there just soaking each other in. I pulled on her shoulders and she moved so her head was laying on the pillow. We were both facing each other and when she reached out and brushed the loose strands of my hair out of my face, I couldn't help but sigh in contentment. It took her about ten minutes to fall asleep as she laid there staring into my eyes. A short time later I followed.

The next morning was an early one for us. She was going to go record the newly written song and she asked me to go with her. I cleared my schedule immediately because there wasn't anywhere else I wanted to be other than with her. The band had an acoustic show tonight and she wanted to spend the day with me since she was flying out to New York with Matt to work with Taylor on her new album after the show.

We also agreed to to be filmed that morning so the camera crew was at the house setting up downstairs. It was bizarre but they weren't intrusive which I was very appreciative of. I pulled on some pajamas and went downstairs. I let one of the camera guys follow me around as I went about getting ready for the day and making phone calls. Demi of course was in a playful mood so they got a lot of footage of her being ridiculous and annoying.

The recording process was always interesting to watch when it was just her working with session musicians and a producer. She recorded most of the music herself except the drums and bass. This particular song had a lot of ambient guitar noises and string elements to it. It was actually quite beautiful. The last few choruses is when it really kicked it.

I had a habit of sitting on tables and counters whenever I was home and it kind of bled into everywhere. I laid across one of the tables in the studio and watched as she tracked guitars. She looked so serious and I couldn't help but take a couple pictures of her. She in turn took a picture of me before sticking her tongue out and returning to work. Later on when I saw she had posted the picture online, it looked like I was sleeping because she caught me mid blink and my eyes were closed.
