Chapter 43. Happiness (his pov)

I was very serious but her delay in response is making me nervous. Her face was surprised but otherwise held no emotion.

"Are you sure about me though?" She whispered as a tear fell onto her beautiful face.

"I am Oakley." I said and she kneeled in front of me and nodded.

"Yes. I'll marry you." And I started to feel tears spike my eyes.

I grabbed the ring and took of the promise ring and replaced it with the official ring and we both stood up. She jumped and wrapped her arms around my neck pulling me down to her height to kiss her. I get her smile against my lips and I couldn't help but do the same. When we backed away I pulled a chain from my pocket and put her promise ring around it to make the ring a necklace and I put it around her neck.

"Babyyyyy can I be your bridesmaid?" Jonah came up and asked making Oakley turn toward him and laugh.

"No hunny you'll be my maid of honor." She said and he squealed while picking her up and spinning her around.

When he put her down she went to Nadia who put the camera down.

"Hey I know we don't know each other that well but I'd love to be a friend of yours and I suppose I can start by asking if you want to me a bridesmaid?" Oakley asked making Nadia smile and hug her which took Oakley by surprise but soon she returned the hug.

"I'd love to." Nadia said pulling away.

Oakley came back to me and kissed my cheek before she looked down at her small hand that now held the beautiful ring that made her my fiancée. I couldn't help but feel like I've been blessed by whoever is the higher being in this universe.

"I love you." I said and Oakley looked up at me with a beautiful smile.

"I love you more." She said and I grabbed her hand and started walking to the car where I'd take her to dinner.

"See y'all later!" Nadia said as she got in the car with Milo and Jonah.

"Where are we going?" Oakley asked and I just smiled as I opened the door for her to get into the car.

When I got in I put my phone in the AUX cord and played her music. Some of The Neighborhood, some Chase Atlantic, and some Arctic Monkeys. She was singing to all of them and I just danced along listening to her beautiful voice. I felt so bad for making her doubt me and believing that I could stop loving her.

I couldn't love anything more than her. I never want her to feel as though I don't want her or need her ever again.

We pulled up to a restaurant that was pretty fancy but not too much and I opened the door for her taking her hand that carried the ring and walking her inside.

"Name for reservation?" A waitress asked looking down at her tablet.

"Holten." I said and she nodded before lifting her head from the tablet making eye contact with me.

Darn my attractiveness.

"Ahhh I see follow me." She said and we did.

I look down at Oakley who was looking at the girl aggressively swaying her hips as she walked and she giggled. I love how she always found people wanting my attention funny. It was hot.

We got seated and the girl handed us the menus.

"What's the occasion?" The waitress asked looking at me.

"We're getting married." Oakley said smiling and holding the ring out.

"That's funny." The girl said laughing.

"Why?" Oakley said now serious but with an amusing grin.

"Well you two look young and he doesn't look like the settling down type. Besides you don't look his type." She said smugly.

I sat back and crossed my arms with a grin pasted on my face.

"Look baby girl I've done this a few too many times with many different women who think they know shit. You must be as dumb as the rest. He is the settling down type for me, we are young, and his type is most definitely me, now you are here to do a job and get paid. If you can't do it correctly my pretty little hand with my engagement ring on it will snap your neck in half. You understand me?" She said all with a smile on her face as the waitresses grew in fear.

"Yes ma'am." The girl whispered.

"Good now I want a coke and him a," she said waiting for me to answer.

"blue moon." I finished looking at Oak the whole time.

"Okay it'll be right out." The waitress said as she walked away quickly.

"That was hot." I said smirking at my girl.

"I know." She said winking at me.

We got home to my house and i turned on some of the lights.

"Movie?" I asked and she nodded.

"Can we watch Fast and Furious?" She asked and I nodded.

She went upstairs and I just got undressed till I was in my boxers and she came down in a black bra and my boxers that were low on her hips so it showed her black thong she was wearing and immediately my dick got hard.
