today is graduation day. my dads fall was last week but he's still staying in the hospital so they can monitor his leg i guess. josh's mom is filming the graduation that way my dad can watch as if he were there.

i head into the packed house and go towards my boyfriend who is standing with his friends.
bryce: ayo katelynnn you: hey
josh turns and looks me up and down.

he pecks my lips and hands me his white claw to take a sip. i do, and then go get my own. i find amelie with charli.

a few white claws later and i'm a little tipsy. it's only nearing 11 PM. charli amelie and i are randomly dancing together.

she goes over with blake, leaving me and charli laughing. we go sit outside on the patio where it's a bit quieter.
you: so how's you and jaden *laughs charli: pretty great. he's amazing. you: that's good. at least you haven't had to deal with mads yet charli: mads? is she that tall blonde chick? you: ya you know her? charli: jadens mentioned how bad things ended between them. and she came up to me earlier you: oh god. what'd she say charli: she asked me if jaden and i are together. then told me to watch my back. some short girl was with her you: ugh nessa barrett. brown hair?
she nods.
you: when did they come up to you charli: when i got here you: oh god. we should go find jaden and josh before nessa and mads are all over them
we head in and head to the beer pong table where it's josh and anthony vs bryce and jaden. charli goes over near jaden and i hug josh from behind
josh: what's up babygirl you: nothing josh: alright *laughs
he continues to play as i continue to hug him. after he won the game for him and anthony, he turns and gives me a proper hug.
josh: tired? you: no josh: than what are you doing *laughs you: keeping nessa away
he laughs again and kisses my forehead. him and i stand there talking to our friends for a bit til the bitches walk up. yay.
nessa: hey joshy
josh ignores her and keeps talking to bryce.
nessa: your still with this whore?
josh's fists clench but he knows he can't hit a girl. if it were a guy, they'd already be knocked out on the floor.

charli looks up at jaden and he puts his hands up in defense.
jaden: i didn't invite you mads. or nessa. josh: damn you two are always trippin
the boys laugh.
you: can you just go? nessa: i'll leave when i wanna
she walks over to josh placing her hands on his chest. breathe katelyn. breathe. everyone's attention turned to something else. except mine. i'm focused on watching what she is doing.
nessa: joshy let's go upstairs
she bites her lip and looks at him. that's when i can't fucking take it. i slap her face loud enough that everyone heard and turned to look.
nessa: what the fuck?! josh: come on kate
he grabs my hand and starts to pull me towards the door. once we're outside i start to cry. i'm such a baby.
you: sh- she was all over you and i- i- josh: shhhh it's okay
he hugs me and laughs a tiny bit.
josh: she's an ass. i love you and only you. got it?
i nod and he kisses my head. then he takes me home because we didn't wanna go back in and see her.
