this morning we take the mustang to school just to get attention. everyone knows that my family has money and most of them are used to it by now. then logan and i get out of the car and hold hands as we walk in.
amelie: hey bae- woah who's this?
she smirks at me at the fact him and i are holding hands.
you: amelie- this is my boyfriend logan
i hug his side and she practically shrieks in happiness.
amelie: when did this happen???
you: well we were friends when we were little. him and his dad just moved back up here, they're staying with us, and it just just happened
she smiles and hugs me. then whispers in my ear.
amelie: i'm glad you moved on
i laugh a bit. then logan and i walk to bio, hand in hand. when we walk in, josh is too busy looking down at his phone.
you: mr daniels? since logan is new can i switch my seat to be with him? i'm helping him catch up
mr daniels: yes that's fine katelyn. we'll find joshua a new partner
hearing his name, josh looks up. he sees me and logan and tilts his head a bit. logan and i go sit at the empty lab table.

at lunch, i'm sitting with amelie blake and logan. i've already introduced everyone to logan except josh.
amelie: so logan. why'd ya move back up here?
logan: mr connor gave my dad a really good job offer. my dad was recently laid off and mr connor wanted to help us out.
blake: ah. so your living in this bitch's house
i glare at him.
blake: how is josh taking- this
he points to me and logan
you: josh has a girlfriend. he shouldn't care.
amelie gives me a knowing look. she's saying "he does care because he still like you" but i shake my head.
...
logan and i are walking to the car.
you: there's josh over there with nessa
logan leans against my car, pulling me into him and kissing me. i hear josh's voice getting closer. i keep kissing logan while i wrap my arms behind his neck.
josh: um h- hey katelyn
logan and i slowly pull away and i turn to look at josh.
you: hi
josh: so um- you must be logan
josh holds out his hand for logan to shake it, but logan doesn't. josh quickly then shoved his hand back in his jeans pocket.
logan: your josh huh?
josh nods.
josh: a- are you guys like- together?
you: ya
josh: oh.
you: get the car started. i'll be ready in a moment
logan gets in the car.
you: josh can we just stop speaking to eachother? you have nessa and i have logan. the thing that we had- or i thought we had- is over.
josh: o- ok
he looks down at his feet.
you; thanks. i'll see ya around
josh: ya
his voice is soft and he sounds hurt. i feel kinda bad. he was my bestfriend for a while and now we are gonna stop talking. but he fucked nessa. i have to remember that. i turn away and get in the car with
logan, driving home.
