"How long as he been missing ma'am?" the officer asked.
"Almost a month." she said wiping tears.
"Do you know where he could've gone?" they asked.
"He told me he was going to a friends house." she said sniffling.
"He left his phone, I can give it to you if it's helps." she offered.
"That would help thank you ma'am." the officer said taking the phone.
"Ziyaire right?" they asked.
"Yes." she nodded.
"Stop crying, it's not good for your baby." the officer said as Ziyaire rubbed her stomach.
They finished up the conversation and said their goodbyes.
"We will get back to you if we get any information."
Present day...
"The search continues for 45 year old Benjamin Smith and 42 year old Crystal Cott. Last seen at their residences. If you have any information please contact the authorities." The news reporter said.
"Have you talked to Avani?" Ziyaire's mom asked her.
She rolled her eyes at the name.
"No she went fake on me for people she didn't even know." Ziyaire responded rubbing her stomach.
"Wow, that doesn't sound like her." she said raising an eyebrow.
"When are you going to get out and get a job? Im not raising another child." Her mom said causing her to roll her eyes.
"Me and my child's father has this all taken care of, he's going to take care of us." she said sounding sure of the plan.
The truth was, Benjamin was her baby daddy. When he found out he seemed to be excited.
Now he was missing, and she didn't have a back up plan.
"Who is this child's father?" her mother asked.
"Don't worry about it, I don't want to bring him around because you guys are judge mental." she said thinking about all of the times they voiced their opinions on pedophiles.
Ziyaire didn't believe Ben was a pedophile. She believed he loved her and would love their child just as much.
