"I wanna move soon." I said to Ashanti as we laid across her bed.
"Same girl." she said rolling her eyes. "Hate this fucking house, im gone leave and never look back." she added.
I nodded with a chuckle.
"Same." I said with a yawn.
"What if we move in together?" she asked me.
Laying on my bed, I thought about it.
That wouldn't be a bad idea.
"That actually sounds like a good idea." I nodded thinking about us being roommates.
Ashanti was really cool. We were growing closer, and closer everyday. Every time I came over her house, her room was always clean. It was an overall vibe.
I was really big on keeping my space clean. I just can't deal with clutter and dirt. I usually keep negative vibes out of my room, so I could be at peace when I sleep.
"How are things with your dad?" she asked.
I sighed before shaking my head.
"Same shit." I replied dryly.
I told Shanti about the verbal abuse, because I know she's trust worthy. She's the first person i've told since Raheem and it feels good to let it out.
I just prayed she didn't cut me off.
She rubbed my back as I stuffed my face into a pillow. Before I knew it, I was sound asleep.

"Vani." I heard.
Opening my eyes I looked around before my eyes landed on Shanti and Bam.
"Hey bestieee." I dragged getting up to hug him.
"I missed you." Bam told me as he hugged me.
Pulling away from the hug I yawned and stared at the wall.
Seeing a laptop being placed in front of me, I grabbed it and looked at the screen.
2 bedroom, 2.5 baths, for $1200 a month.
"It's move in ready." Shanti told me with a grin on her face. "We just need the deposit and first months rent." she continued.
"How much altogether?" I asked.
"$1500" she told me.
I nodded with a smile.
"I'm finally finna get the fuck on." I stood up twerking.

"Sit yo ass down." Bam said as he threw a pillow at my head.
Smacking my teeth a put up my middle finger before sitting back down.
"We can go view it whenever we have the money ready." Ashanti said smiling at me.
"I have my half, i've been waiting for this day." I said to Ashanti.
"Same!" she said as I dapped her up.
Looking back down at her computer, Bam spoke up.
"We finna be at y'all shit everyday, Airbnb yeah that's yall." he said making me laugh.
"You a goofball." I said playfully rolling my eyes.
"Okay, we can view the house tomorrow." Ashanti said.
