Katniss pov:
"Katniss what the hell?!" Finnick yells at me.
" Listen I know Delly I the worst and she pretty much put you through hell in elementary school but-"
"But what Finnick? She's such an asshole and she always made fun of me, remember on Father's Day she made fun of me because she knows I.....that my dad is......you know" I say.
" But why did you attack Delly now?" He asks
"Well......she-". I am cut off by a sound and I see Peeta and Clove. I feel like running out of the school but I know Finnick would try and chase me.
" Hey Kat" Peeta says.
"Whatever" I say and I walk back to the change room because I hate to let people see me weak. I take a shower and get changed. I hear the bell and make my way out of the school I see Finnick and everyone else waiting to my car.
" Hey we heard what happened at gym" says Marvel.
" listen I got to get home" I say trying not to sound rude, my first day of school and I already mess up.
"Katniss wait" says Peeta.
but I am already in my car " Kat can I at least come over please" Finnick says making puppy dog eye.
" Fine" I says and he gets in my car. We are silent all the way. Finnick looks at my house in awe. "Woah" is all he can say. When we get in I yell "Prim, mom I'm home". Prim comes racing down the stairs and behind her is my mom " Oh Finnick"says my mom"long time no see"
"Hi miss everdeen" says Finnick.
" please call me Maria" she says.
" Hey primmy" says Finnick. Prim looks at him for a good minute and finally recognized him.
" Oh Hey Fish Boy" she says, that makes me laugh.
" Well me and Finnick are going to hand out I my room" I say
. Once me and Finnick go to my room he drops his bag on the floor.
" ok Kat spill" he says in a serious tone.
" Ok só me and Peeta were umm.... talking and Delly came over and started being annoying then she went up to Peeta and well........."
"Well what Kat?" He asks
" SHE KISSED PEETA!" I yell.
" Wait do you like Peeta?" He asks and he raises his eyebrows.
" Maybe" I say. " I don't know I never really liked a boy before. BUT YOU LIKE ANNIE!!" I yell trying to change the subject.
" Well yeah but that doesn't change the fact that you attacked Delly and I think you should tell Peeta how you feel" he says in a serious tone.
" no no no no no, I just met him and he doesn't even like me back" I say.
" yes he does I can see the way he looks at you and did you see the worry in the poor boys eyes when you were fighting Delly, he does like you!" He says.
I am about to argue when I think about what Finnick said and he maybe right wait Finnick right about something I think to myself, no way.
" By the way your room is 5 times bigger than mine I mean you have a californian king sized bed!" He says. He is like a dog he loses interest in one thing so quickly. He walk into my large bathroom "Holy crap I can swim in your bathtub" he says I give a slight laugh.
After me showing Finnick the mansion. He has to go home so I drive him.
I pull up to his house and he tells me to come in because his parents will want to see me I agree and walk in his house where I see peeta and Cato sitting on Finnick's couch.
"Oh Katniss" I hear a woman squeal I look and see Finnicks mom.
" Hi Miss O'dair" I say and go over and give her a hug.
"Well I got to get home I only told my mom I was going to drive Finnick home" I say in an apologetic voice.
"Ok Well we can catch up later" she says.
I am walking to where I parked my car when someone grabs my arm I turn around and see Peeta.
" Katniss why did you start a fight with Delly" he asks nearly begging.
" Because she kissed you" I say in a whisper, but he heard it.
" Listen Peeta I am sorry but I just didn't like it when Delly kissed you I guess I got angry and a little jealous" I say my voice getting quieter and quieter I am about so say more but then I fell lips crash on to mine I open my eyes to see it's Peeta kissing me and I don't hesitate to kiss back when I pull away
" but I don't like Delly I like you" he says I just look into his eyes
" I.........um........I got to get home or my mom will get mad at me"
I say in a whisper "ok" he says back. I get into my car and drive home eat dinner take a shower, brush my teeth and go into bed not knowing what to feel when I kissed Peeta I felt fireworks go off inside me. But I just don't know.
I think I am falling for Peeta Mellark.
