I'm now 24 years old, Tony and I are back with the avengers. We have been taking down Hydra bases, trying to find Loki's missing scepter.
Taking down these Hydra bases have made me feel free...knowing they are gone. Makes me feel safer.
Tony no longer had the Arc reactor inside his chest keeping him alive, he now uses one to just power the suits.
I was flying next to Tony, blasting down at the soldiers as we near the large building, Tony and I then slam into a forcefield, "Shit!" Tony and I yell at the same time.
"Language! Jarvis, what's the view from upstairs?" Steve asks.
"The central building is protected by some kind of energy shield. Strucker's technology is well beyond any other Hydra base we've taken."
"Loki's scepter must be here. Strucker couldn't mount this defense without it. At long last." Thor says.
"At long last is lasting a little long, boys." Nat says.
"Yeah. I think we lost the element of surprise." Clint chuckles.
"Wait a second. No one else is going to deal with the fact that Cap just said language?" Tony asks as we fly around the base.
"I know. It just slipped out."
"Sir, the city is taking fire." Jarvis says.
"Well, we know Strucker's not going to worry about civilian casualties. Send in the Iron Legion."
"We have an enhanced in the field." Steve says.
Nat yells, "Clint's hit!"
"Stark, we really need to get inside." Steve says.
"We're closing in. Jarvis, are we...closing in? Do you see a power source for that shield?" I ask.
"There's a particle wave below the north tower."
"Great, I wanna poke it with something." Tony blows up the forcefield around the base. "Drawbridge is down, people."
As Tony goes inside, I meet with Steve. We walk inside to see two guards running. I blast them through double doors but freeze when I see Strucker.
"My beauty...my creation." He smiles.
Steve steps in front of me, "Baron Strucker. Hydra's number one thug."
"Technically, I'm a thug for Shield."
"Well then technically you're unemployed. Where's Loki's scepter?" Steve asks.
"Don't worry, I know when I'm beat. You'll mention how I cooperated, I hope."
"I'll put it right under illegal human experimentation. How many are there?" Suddenly a woman knocks Steve down the stairs. She looks at me for a moment before escaping.
"What a pity, you've waisted your abilities. You would of been my greatest creation next to The Winter Soldier." Strucker says.
I grab his collar, "Don't say that name!" I yell through my tears.
"I'm happy to see I'm still breaking you."
Steve throws his shield and knocks Strucker out.
"Guys, we got Strucker." Steve says.
"Yeah, I got... something bigger."
"Y/N....why did he say that name?" Steve asks.
