Chapter 12 - Quality time

April 6th 2011 –

(Alex’s P.O.V)

Aj lightly touched her lips to mine, I kissed back. It wasn’t intense or anything, it was just sweet. I really wanted to get to know this girl more.

“Hey ah so do you maybe want to spend the day with me?” I managed to get out

“I’d love to” she said before hugging me and starting to climb out of bed

“Awesome, well since I don’t really know Vancouver that much maybe you will be my official guide?” I asked as she got fully out of bed. Wow I could see her body a lot more now than last night. She was absolutely gorgeous. Like wow. I couldn’t help but stare.

“Sounds great!” she said as she turned to face me. I was still staring.

“What are you looking at?” she asked seeming a little self-conscious.

“Ahh umm you” I decided to just be truthful “You are absolutely gorgeous” I stated

“Thanks” was all she before looking down and picking up her clothes. She got dressed in what she was wearing last night. I just smiled as I made my way to my suitcase to find something to wear today. I decided on just a pair of black skinny jeans, a t-shirt with my mickey mouse jumper over the top.

“Well I need to go home and change” Aj stated

“Ah-k umm how far away do you live?” I asked like I did last night

“About a tin minute walk” really was that all?

“Oh really?” I asked

“Yeah why?” she seemed confused

“Oh last night when I asked that you said too far” I told her

“That’s because last night I would of done anything to go home with you” she said confidently

“I see” I said nodding at her

(Amberleys P.O.V)

So I was actually going to spend the day with Alex. That made me really happy, especially since I couldn’t remember a huge amount of what actually happened last night.

“So would you do me the honor of walking me home? I can quickly change and we can go grab some brunch maybe?” I asked him

“Sounds great” he said as he made his way towards the door. We made our way down to the lobby when we ran into his band and Simple Plan

“Ooooh walk of shame!” Jack taunted

“No, its not a walk of shame if he’s just walking me home to get a change of clothes” I told them straight back

“Oh well that’s no fun!” Jack whined

“Well I’m not here for your enjoyment am I?” I asked

“No, you’re here for his” Jack said gesturing towards Alex

“That sounds about right” I said grabbing Alex’s hand and heading towards the door

“Bye Lover boy” Jack yelled to Alex followed by a chorus of laughter. We made our way back to Matts and I’s house. I should probably tell him that I live with my brother.

“So I guess I should probably tell you that I live with Matt, so sorry if he decides to be over protective brother” I told him before opening the door and not really giving him a chance to answer.

“And where were you last night young lady?” that wasn’t Matt. My dad? What was he doing here.

“Uhh I stayed at my friend Alex’s. What are you doing here?” I asked him at I made my way around to give him a hug.
