AN: Only two updates today. I might do another, depending on how much I get typed. It is time that I slow down. I'M ALMOST OUT OF CHAPTERS. I'm updating faster than I'm writing!!! So... just a heads up. Thanks for sticking through this story!!!

Eryn POV

I heard him. I hear him. He's giving up.

"I'm here!! Please I'm here!!!" I wailed.

I tried everything I could to move. Just a finger. A toe. An eye.

Something. Anything.

I try moving again. I can't. I can't. I can't.

I scream. I yell. I shout.

But nothing works.

"I'M SICK OF THIS!!! I AM HERE!!! I'M HERE AND I CAN'T DO ANYTHING!!! I'M A PRISONER IN MY OWN BODY!!! AND I'M SICK OF IT!!! LET. ME. MOVE!!!" I scream.

I hear the increased beeping of my heart monitor.

"Eryn...?" I hear Wes say, almost in disbelief.

He squeezes my hand.

"Come on. Come on, come on you can do it. Move. For the guys. For Josh. For Kalel," he whispered.

"I am! I am, I can't! You can't feel me. You can't hear me," I sobbed.

But something's different.

When I cry in this prison I can't feel any tears.

But now there's a wet tear sliding down my face.

And I feel it.

"Eryn? Eryn, Eryn move, say something. Please, I see it. I see the tear. I know you can hear me, move," he said.

The sound is clearer.

I can feel my body.

I can see the slight red of my eyelids.

I'm free. I'm free. After four months, I'm finally free from my own prison.

I feel my eyes move. But I can't open my eyelids. "Eryn open your eyes. I saw them move, open your eyes," Wes whispers.

I feel his hands in mine.

I squeeze his hand weakly.

I hear a gasp and I feel something wet on my hand. "Eryn," he whispers. "I could feel your hand move, do it again," he said.

And I try but I can't.

I open my eyes. I finally did it.

I see Wes. He's staring at my hand, as if willing it to move.

"It's good to be able to use my body again," I rasp.

Wes's eyes snap to mine. And he smiles. "Eryn," he whispers. He lets go of my hand and pulls me into a gentle hug.

"Hi," I rasp. My voice sounds horrible. Wes gives a mixture of a laugh and choking sound as he pulls me closer.

"I thought I lost you..." He whispers. "You know I wouldn't leave. Never in a million years. I'd never leave you," I laugh a little, "Like you said, 'I'd follow you anywhere, but I can't follow you to Heaven.' Now I'm starting to wonder if I'm there," I whisper.

Wes pulls away. "You heard me...?" He asks, almost in disbelief. I felt my eyes water. "Every little bit," I choked on a sob.

He hushes me and pulls me into his arms.

"I was so scared, Wes. I was so afraid. I- I thought I was going to die. I thought I was going to die alone. I- Wes... I was so afraid of being alone..." I sobbed.

"I'm here. I'm here, you're not alone," he whispers.

I'm here, I thought.

How many times have I screamed that?
