Liu Tong was silent. He clenched his grip on Xu Ran's hand tighter and tighter. Xu Ran looked as though his bones were on the brink of cracking.

Xu Ran patted Liu Tong on the back with his other hand, signaling that he should relax.

Then he whispered into Liu Tong's ear, "Tongtong, let them be. We can earn on our own."

The other members of the Xu Family were unaware of Xu Ran's movements because they were so limited.

"Dad, daddy is right," Xu Cheng continued after Elder Daddy Xu had stopped speaking. "Many of the vegetables that our family consumes come from that same plot of soil. We won't have any food this year if we send the land to Xu Ran, and we won't have any land to grow vegetables in the future! How will we be able to survive if we don't have any food?"

"It's true, dad. Hui and Qiang are both young. They have to consume an excessive amount of food. If they don't have plenty, how can they grow tall? Don't you want Hui and Qiang to be hungry, Dad?"

Zhang Yue pushed as well. Simultaneously, he told his two children to be demure with Xu Houcai.

Xu Hui and Xu Qiang rushed to Xu Houcai's side after hearing Zhang Yue's statement, squeezing his thigh and calling him grandpa.

Xu Houcai glanced disdainfully at the two lovely grandchildren under his feet, then at Tangtang and Guoguo standing in the corner.

"No, we're not going to give them the land. "Now, get out of here!" says Xu Houcai.

"You're right. Get out of here as quickly as possible. It's preferable to die outside."

Elder Daddy Xu gave birth to both the fool and Xu Cheng. Why, then, does Elder Daddy Xu despise Xu Ran too much?

Xu Ran was genuinely puzzled.

Liu Tong gave the Xu family a blank stare. There was nothing in the room that he didn't like. His own family would accompany him, and this family would no longer be involved with them.

Liu Tong marched towards the gates, supporting Xu Ran. Without saying anything, the two children obediently stood behind their father and daddy.

The Xu Family maintained a close watch on Liu Tong for fear that he would steal their belongings. Liu Tong had never kept anything valuable at the house. He was well aware that everything in this house would be discovered. He wasn't that stupid.

The Xu Family did not send them away empty-handed; instead, each of them was holding a hoe.

They saw a group of people standing outside to see a good show when they opened the gates. After all, Tangtang and Guoguo had cried their way to the village chief's house, and several people had seen them on their way there.

It was the off-season for planting, and people in the countryside liked to get together and gossip about what was going on in their lives. They'd been standing there for a moment, watching the village chief stroll away with a frown on his face. As a result, they thought something terrible had happened to the Xu family.

"What are you looking at?" said Elder Daddy Xu as he stood at the entrance, cursing the people outside. "Have you seen any family seperation?"

Then he moved Liu Tong and the two kids out the door and quickly shut it, as if Liu Tong and the others were infected with a virus. This was the separation of the family!

The villagers outside assumed the family wasn't splitting up based on Xu Ran's sad presence. Instead, it was a case of communal bullying of a fool, culminating in his expulsion from the house.

Liu Tong cocked his head to peer through the slammed fence. He'd been here for seven years, and he'd acquired a foolish husband and two lovely children. In reality, he was delighted with it. They were all together, in the very least.

Xu Ran halted Liu Tong just as he was about to leave. "Ran, what's up?" Liu Tong questioned, confused.

Xu Ran whispered a few words as he stepped closer to Liu Tong's ear. Then he started frowning and groaning in agony.

Xu Ran was persistent about not letting the family go too quickly. He wanted as many villagers to know how he got out of the Xu Family now, how he was handled by the Xu Family, and how he intended to revenge against the Xu Family in the future.

Not to mention the possibility of being wealthy in the future. If those cruel relatives ever tried to take advantage of them in the name of a family, Xu Ran would not give them any chances at the time. He'd remind them that they'd gotten themselves into a pit of their own making.

All of this was met with composure by Liu Tong. He stood by Xu Ran's side, took the two twins, and walked a few steps out the door, oblivious to the crowd. He immediately knelt, and Xu Ran soon followed. Despite the fact that the two children were unaware of what had occurred, they both dropped to their knees when they saw their father and daddy on their knees.

"Dad and daddy, after the separation, we can't do our filial obligation in front of you," Liu Tong cried out.

"Liu Tong expresses his gratitude to you two for raising Ran. Still, rest assured, even though Ran is a fool, I will continue to live with him. Besides, I'll look after our two children well. I won't blame you two because dad and daddy gave us nothing and I don't know where I'll live with Ran and the kids in the future. I am aware of your situation. I'm sure you all adore our younger brother and his two kids. All of this is clear to me."

Finally, Liu Tong addressed Xu Cheng, saying, "Second brother and his wife, you'll have to look after both dad and daddy from now on. You can't make them go starving or without clothes. You should not want your father and dad to work in the fields because they are both elderly and not as powerful as they once were. You should take them to the doctor on a daily basis and buy them a tonic on occasion. You should look after your food at home, particularly if you eat meat. You'd better get a meat meal over the next two days... "

Liu Tong was a huge figure. Witnessing his cry was unbearable. However, he expressed himself with such sincerity that those present were moved and believed the Xu Family had gone too far.

Xu Ran had not expected Liu Tong to say those things. He'd always assumed this guy was easy to bully, but it seemed that was no longer the case. 'A beast at bay will bring up a desperate struggle,' as the saying goes. It was totally right.

Xu Ran continued to moan in pain, while Liu Tong sobbed and lowered his head. Behind them, two children started crying. The entire family bore a pitiful expression.

People who were watching the show started to argue loudly as well. They observed that the Xu Family was apparently splitting up family property and living separately, but that nothing had been distributed in reality. As a result, Xu Ran, Liu Tong, and their children were unable to find a place to rest. They had been expelled from the residence.

In the beginning, Xu Houcai and his wife, as well as Xu Cheng, had a bad reputation in the village. And now they've expelled the fool and his family once more. People in the village began to look down on Xu Houcai and his family.

Liu Tong helped Xu Ran stand up after he had been kneeling at the door for a long time. Liu Tong shifted his gaze across the area. He was at a loss because he had no idea where they might go at this point.

The discussion around them became much louder, but Liu Tong and Xu Ran paid little attention. The Xu Family's door was already securely shut at the time, so the family members inside had no idea what was going on outside. They were silently congratulating themselves in the room for successfully driving out four worthless mouths.
