Part 57

Priscilla.

I woke up to the sound of rain. I looked out the window and I see water pouring down my window. I turn my body around and I see Jackie sleeping next to me. I get up and I walked down to my room. Malcom left last night since he didn't want to bother us with the whole situation that happened between Mariano and Jackie. I grabbed my phone from the night stand and I see many notifications on my phone.

"Mariano: Hey can we meet at the Hard Rock Cafe entrance in an hour?" 

I was confused why he texted me even though we haven't talked in months. I text back "Yes" and I turned off my phone right away. I gently get out of bed and I walk down to my room to change. I wore a black shirt with black jeans and my Jordan's. I quickly do my hair then I walked out of the apartment.  I get to the entrance after staying for an hour in traffic. I see Mariano on his phone waiting for me.

Mariano: Hey

Priscilla: Hey Mar

He was about to hug me but I pushed him away.

Priscilla: Why did you want to meet up

Mariano: Look I know I broke up with Jackie a while ago but the main reason I broke up with her is because..

Priscilla: Mariano I don't have all day just say it

Mariano: Because I like you.

I just froze. 

Priscilla: Y- You like me 

Mariano: ever since you first arrived to the Vault I couldn't stop laying my eyes off you

Priscilla: But you've dated other girls since I've been here

Mariano: To get over you because I knew I would never get a chance with you

Priscilla: Mariano I have a boyfriend.

Mariano: Who cheated on you Twice Priscilla! Twice!

Priscilla: I can't date you either way, you're my best friends ex boyfriend and you're like a friend to me

Mariano: Look I get that you have a boyfriend and I know we can't be together but I just wanted to confess my feelings before I go back to Ontario.

Priscilla: I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings Mariano I really am.. But we could still be friends 

Mariano: Yeah sure

He gave me a hug then walked away. I felt bad for the guy yet again I have a boyfriend who loves me and I love him. Plus he's my best friend's ex boyfriend.

I got in an Uber and I was on my way back to the apartment. I see Jackie in the living room eating our leftovers from a couple nights ago. 

Jackie: Where'd you go?

Priscilla: I went to Hollywood boulevard just for a walk

Jackie: Dressed like that *She laughs*

Priscilla: I mean I need to look nice don't I 

Jackie: Yeah yeah

Priscilla: Anyways how are you feeling

Jackie: A bit better

Priscilla: I'm sorry love I promise I'll make it up to you

Jackie: No It's okay I just need some rest 

Priscilla: Well I'll be back I'm going to go get us some snacks for tonight ok

Jackie: Alright

I get the keys and I walked out. I walked to a CVS nearby. I buy some snacks and I hear my phone ring. It was Malcom.
