When he grabbed my wrist, my heart was beating so fast. His grip was really gentle, yet was enough to stop me from walking further away.
As much as I am really flustered by his action, I calmly turn around
"Do you need something Joshua ?"
I asked him, tying to ignore on how fast my heart is beating right now.
He let go of my wrist gently
"Well, we've been friends for a month already but we don't even have each others' numbers. Would you want to exchange numbers with me ? It'd be more convenient for both of us too right ?"
Said Joshua as he pulled out his phone
"Plus, it'll be easier for both of us if we want to meet somewhere"
He added as he have that gentleman-like smile plastered onto his face which made my heart skipped a beat whenever I see it.
"O-oh u-uh sure ! Of course of course"
I said as I pulled out my phone to open the keypad
He handed me his phone and I handed mine to him.
After we were done, we exchanged our phones as I bid my farewell to him. As much as I wanted to stay and talk to him, I have work awaiting for me. I can't believe it has been a month ever since that rainy Sunday morning.
It was then his singing replayed in my head
"Sunday morning rain is falling
Steal some covers, share some skin
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
You twist to fit the mold I am in"
That really reminded me of our first meeting...
