"Place ya bets"

"Bets taken here"

the twins yell as they pushed through the roaring crowd who cheered as they waited for the event to start. I followed behind George closely, looking around for any spaces to sit or any familiar faces to join,

"Oi boys I'm going to go find a spot for us to sit, I see Hermione over at the top of the stadium, join us later?" I ask, they both nod at the same time while they're hands we're holding they're basket of goods.

And they went back to shouting amongst the crowd, "place ya bets here" they both shouted collecting money from the students.

I make my way through the busy crowd trying to get to Hermione, as my feet took me forward I looked at the arena, my heart fell at the look of it, the rocks were grey and no sight of colour, and knowing Harry was going to be in there, fighting a dragon soon worried me,

With my thoughts in my head and as well as moving forward my shoulder was harshly bumped into someone as I walked past, "watch it" he spat and my hair caught the blonde Slytherin boy with his eyebrows furrowed and his eyes piercing at me as he continued walking the other way, I roll my eyes and think nothing of it.

Usual Malfoy behaviour.

"Hermione" I shout to grab her attention, her eyes spotted me as she stood there with Ron by her side, she grabbed my arm warmly, releasing her nerves onto me, she squeezed me tight,

"Did you chat to Harry?" I whisper, having a feeling she didn't tell Ron about her doings, she leans to my ear as we stood side by side looking at the arena, "I did, with the consequence of Rita Skeeter catching us in the moment and most definitely won't be surprised we're not in the daily profit tomorrow" she huffed rolling her eyes as she looked forward, I shook my head lightly showing I was annoyed along side her, "well did Harry seem nervous?" I ask trying to flip the conversation to a lighter subject

"Yeah, he looked even more nervous then when he played his first quidditch game, and you know how nervous he was for that" she spoke looking at me with a worried face, her eyes wide,

I take a deep breath, and hold her hand, "it's Harry, he will manage to get his way through it, even if it costs him a limb" I jokingly say, Hermione managed to pull out a slight smile,

I look over at Ron who was there but didn't look in the moment, his head hanging low and his eyes set on the arena in front of him.

"Hey Ron" I smile at him, seeing if maybe he's come to his senses, he looks over at me and smiles back lightly, "ah hey Lucy" he spoke softly, I decided I was okay with that, a small hi is better then a mean glare at me during class,

Out of no where the boom of cannon went and nearly burst everyone's ear drums but the roar of the crowd picked up again, everyone waving they're flags in support of their friends.

I saw Cedric was up first and my heart skipped a beat, my hand still on Hermione's I squeezed it without realising, she looked at me weirdly for a split second before continuing to watch the game.

I look at the dragon that faced Cedric and realised it wasn't the hungarian horntail and my heart fell at ease, but nonetheless was still very dangerous for the Hufflepuff.

"Go Cedric! You got this!" I yell trying to get his attention or even just show my support for the boy and he quickly looked up into the crowd and his eyes spotted me, he smiled and sent a little wink before running into the arena head first towards the dragon.

He reached for his wand and it was in his hands prepared, his eyes were focused on the dragon, but he would give a sudden glance over at a pile of loose rocks, his mind running wild he ran over there quickly, toppling over the other rocks in his way, swooping over the dragon,
