"I mean how did he do it?" Ron spoke out of no where as the three of us walked along the dark hallways of Hogwarts, "do what?" I ask, "how did he put his name in?- I mean it's impossible" Ron questions again, more to himself then actually talking to us about it, his head full of thoughts, "I'm not sure but I have a feeling Harry doesn't know either" I say shaking my head lightly, clearing my head from my head working overload,

"What do you mean he wouldn't know?"

"Well it's a possibility that maybe Harry didn't put forth his name, maybe another student did, another student who is old enough to place a name" I suggest, I shrugged my shoulders as I talked, the three of us just looked at each other with furrowed brows, Ron was more angry, or disgusted, or... I'm not sure what, but I don't think he believed Harry didn't put his name in.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow? I'm going to stay down here for a bit, probably read or something" I suggest, looking over at Ron and Hermione as finally walked into the quiet common room, they both nodded, "don't stay up too late Lucy, it's bad for you" Hermione spoke, a slight smile on her face as she knew about the inside joke we have about how she knows everything, "I won't, goodnight guys" I smile and they walk off together and split when going towards they're dormitories.

I few whispers were being spread around as I stood in the common room, I few eyes on me as they must think I had something to do with whats just happened, I try to ignore it and I place myself down by the soft couch, my legs curled up and I open my book,

I was waiting for Harry, I needed to find out what happened.

With the fire burning in front of me, creating a warm lust of air keeping my body warm, the common room slowly grew quieter as people headed to bed, after an hour or so, I was the only one left in the room and Harry was still down in the great hall.

I sat there with my book in my hand, my hair all over the place and the crackling sound of the fire burning in front of me and the wet rain hitting the roof of Hogwarts,

"Lucy?" I hear Harry's voice as he entered the common room, his head hanging low and his eyebrows furrowed as he looked at me, his hair was messy and his eyes looked tired,

"Harry!" I jump up from the couch and walk over to him,

"What are you still doing up?" He asks, "where's Hermione and Ron?" He continued, "I'm waiting for you of course, and well Ron and Hermione were tired I guess, so they just headed to bed I think" I say shyly, trying not to make it any bigger then what it was,

"Here sit, I think we're due a chat" I say with a smile and he mirrors my smile and we both flopped onto the couch by the fire again, Harry's arm resting on the arm chair, we sat there for a few seconds in silence, not talking but just taking in everything,

"sooo" I hesitate a little as our eyes watching the fire, "I don't understand" Harry cuts my off before I could start my sentence, I listen closer, "you don't understand what?" I ask, knowing it was about the tri-wizard cup, I just didn't want to persuade him to say something, I wanted him to tell me, I wanted him to tell me what his a hundred percent thoughts are on this,

He moved on the couch, finding the write position, he shook his head very slightly, "who put my name into the goblet of fire?" He asks to himself, "so your sure, you didn't put your name in?" He shakes his head,

"No Lucy you have to believe me, I didn't do it" he spits out quickly, looking straight at me. "Trust me, I believe you, I do" I say moving closer to Harry, he took of his glasses and wiped them clean and placed them back on his head, "good, because right now it seems like your the only one that believes me at the moment" his voice was a lot more quieter at this point, "hey, I'm sure I'm not the only one alright?" I ask him softly, he nods his head in agreement but his face showed he didn't believe me,

"So do you have the slightest idea on how this has happened?" I asked, his eyebrows furrowed at my question, "no actually, I've been trying to figure it out, someone older would have had to put forth my name but I don't know who would do such a thing." His eyes wondering, his mind working overload trying to understand the situation,

I place my hand on his back softly, "Snape? Maybe, he's always had it out for you, maybe he put your name forth, give you a challenge" I say, "I was thinking the same thing"

"Look it's getting pretty late, and you'll need all the rest you can get, leading up to the first event, we will talk more about it tomorrow" I say standing up from the couch looking down at Harry who still sat there, I put my hand forward to help him up, he looks at my hand and then up  forces a smile, he takes my hand and lifts himself up,

"Your right, I've heard I'll be getting interviewed or something soon" he paused and let out a big sigh,

"Thank you Lucy, for this"

-

The next morning was quiet and calm, the sun was beaming through the lake creating a beautiful mist floating above the grounds of hogwarts.

"Hermione" I whisper as I walked over to her bed, she moved at the sound of my voice, "hermione" I lightly shook her shoulder, her eyes opened slowly and sat up from her bed,

"What is it?" She asked sleepily, "Harry and I are going down for breakfast in the great hall now, you and Ron coming?" I asked, her eyebrows lifted, she hesitated a bit, "um yeah I'll get Ron and we'll meet you down there?" She asked as she pushed her blanket off from her and stands up,

"see you soon then"

-

I walk down the stairs quietly and see Harry standing by the table in the Gryffindor common room, "sorry I'm a bit late, woke up hermione to see if she wanted to come" I say, a slight laugh escaped my lips as I talked, "she didn't want to come?" He asks looking behind me and seeing that Hermione wasn't standing there, "oh they're coming later, she said they'll meet us there" I say with a bubbly tone, Harry's was a little more darker,

"They?" He asked with his eyebrows furrowed creating faint lines on his forehead, "yeah Ron will probably come" I say, he huffs at my words, "what? What happened now?" I ask, knowing somethings up,

A few students passed me and Harry in the common room, giving glares towards Harry,
"Nothing, he's just... well we had an argument last night, but can we just forget it and get breakfast?" he suggests and I nod my head with a smile and we make our way out of the common room and towards the great hall.
