1.28 "Try Harder "

Derek "I want you in my pack"

I chuckled dry "you do remember the day i told you that i was a vampire, right?"

Derek shook his head  "that doesn't matter. You are stronger than betas, that's what counts."

I raised an eyebrow "you really think i'd join you?"

Derek sighed "Why do you have to make this harder than it should be?"

I raised an eyebrow confused "what do you mean?"

Derek "You know, i know who's going to be the third"

I scoffed and raised an eyebrow "You're not blackmailing me."

He didn't say anything. 

I asked annoyed " Are you blackmailing me?"

Derek shrugged "probably"

Me "you want a vampire to join a pack full of new born puppies so that you don't have to ruin some innocent teenager's life?"

Derek smiled "i couldn't have said it better"

I looked at him in disgust "what happened to you?"

Derek raised an eyebrow "What do you mean?"

I shook my head "I don't recognize you anymore"

Derek " your family happened. Well, and that is not the only thing"

I put a hand on my hip " and what's the other reason?"

Derek looked at me for a second, then he got in his car and drove away.

I let out an annoyed breath.

At night. At the ice-skating hall.

Scott and i walked onto the ice. Boyd was driving an ice grind.

Scott shouted "Boyd!"

Boyd looked at us, rolled his eyes and ignored us.

I yelled "hey, we just wanna talk. nothing more. "

Scott "come on, Boyd, please"

No respond.

Scott "Did Derek tell you everything? and i don't mean how to control on full moon. i mean everything"

Me "Did he tell you about me and my family?"

Boyd stopped the machine and looked at us "he told me about the hunters"

Scott asked confused "why ruin your life?"

Boyd shrugged "i just don't wanna eat at lunch alone"

Scott "you could just look for friends. you could do so much better than Derek"

Me "Derek is a manipulative liar."

Suddenly we heard Derek "Well, that really hurts, guys"

I sighed and we looked at him. Derek stood there with Isaac and Erica by his sides.

Derek had his hands behind his back "Erica, how's life since we met?"

Erica smirked" in a word : transformative"

Then she flashed her fangs.

I rolled my eyes.

Derek "Isaac?"

Isaac smirked "i'm great"

Scott "hold on. This isn't a fair fight"

Derek "Then go home,Scott. Cori, you can follow him out"
