It had felt like a long time.

A long time of you sitting in the hospital bed, answering questions and being kept watched closely since their first objective was to capture you. They thought they might come back and finish off the job but you knew they weren't.

Some of the classmates have came inside your room, all beaten up themselves and surrounded your bed.

"Yaoyorozu put a tracker on one of the villains, we're going to go get him tonight." Midoriya said, making your eyes meet with his.

"You're crazy, right? Look at us." You laughed, looking at everyone's state especially you and Midoriya- you two were completely beaten up.

"Doesn't matter, I'm still going." Midoriya mentioned, making you throw the hospital blankets back and get up as most of them bickered back and forth.

"Let's meet down at the doors tonight, I don't care who goes or doesn't." He said before everyone had walked out your room.

You wanted to stay in bed, lay there and pretty much die. Your body ached and your head was pounding but there was something overpowering all of those feelings you had felt and that was guilt.

The amount of guilt that corrupted your mind as you laid there for hours by yourself. It was your fault Bakugou had gotten caught up, he was trying to help you and they captured him.

You felt at fault, you couldn't help but feel like everything was your fault. Your stupid lava quirk, your stupid black outs and almost killing yourself and Bakugou on one occasion and now he's held hostage by the villains.

You stood towards the window, looking out at the night sky and you were hoping Bakugou was okay because deep down you did considered him one of your close friends. The secret hangouts you held with just you two and the times he's walked you home and been nice to you- you felt comfortable around him.

You waited until it was nearly closer to the time Midoriya had told you to meet them at. You had snuck out of your hospital room, looking around and making your way to the staircase and walked your way down trying to be quiet.

All while your feet had made its way towards the exit, you can mentally hear the lecture your father will be giving you once he finds out about this, Once Aizawa finds out about this he'll definitely be pissed.

But you were at the stage of not caring, this wasn't for them or for you. This was for Bakugou.

As you met up with your classmates outside, discussing Midoryia's plan, you couldn't help but feel uneasy about this but you shoved it aside.

You all had followed to where the tracker was leading you to, a somewhat old building and you had decided to be the one to climb up the wall to the balcony to look through the window.

"Be careful!" Iida whispered up to you, making you shush him as you climbed over the railing.

Your eyes had peaked through the window, seeing Bakugou instantly tied up to a chair and your heart had stopped. You also noticed all the villains from before as they sat there talking to each other.

Soon the room was empty and Bakugou stood there looking down at his feet and even though they told you the plan, a new one had popped into your mind. This was the only way, this was your only opportunity to do this.

Your fingers slipped under the window and your friends below had noticed your attempt as you slid the window up.

"Y/N! This isn't the plan!" They whispered/shouted at you but you ignored them as your eyes met with Bakugou's.

"No, no get the hell out of here." He said quietly as you climbed through the window and moved your feet over to where he was.

"Shut up, Katsuki. This is a one time opportunity and I'm getting you out of here." You turned to where the door was, hearing noises down the hallway but you knew they weren't coming any closer.

But you made your way over to the door, using a bit of your lava to melt the doorknob to make it impossible to walk inside here unless bursting the door open.

You made your way back to Bakugou, taking off the restraints that were holding him down on the chair and his eyes moved up to look at you.

"You really are a dumb ass, aren't you?" He said sarcastically as you got him free, grabbing his hand and dragging him up towards the window, letting him climb out first.

"Shut up, I'm saving your ass this time." You mumbled, your eyes shooting at the door when you heard yelling about the doorknob being melted and suddenly blue flames had busted the door down, the familiar blue eyes meeting yours.

Bakugou had yanked you out of the window, the classmates below shouting and scattering away from the alley as Bakugou used his explosion to blast you up in the air and down a few buildings before settling on a roof top.

"Alright, we might need to run in this building. It's the safest option instead of blasting in the open." He said, walking over to the door and opened it up forcefully.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" You asked him, making him shoot you a dirty look knowing it was the wrong time to be asking him these questions.

"Y/N, come on, we don't have time." He pulled you inside the window and down the long stairway but you stopped him.

"I need to know if you're okay, it's my fault you got caught up."

"What? It wasn't your fault, what are you talking about?"

"It was my fault." You both went back and forth on it, making a low groan leave his lips as he shut up for a moment.

"I'm fine, they didn't do anything. There. You happy?" He finally answered your question and you nodded your head, the sudden urge to hug him was edging you on.

You randomly threw your arms around him, embracing him in a hug as all the worries washed down the drain and the anxiety you felt about this had flew away. Bakugou was caught off guard, he didn't really like hugs but here you were, hugging onto him tightly.

He hesitated but hearing your panic breathing start to ease up and return back your normal breathing, he had moved his arms to wrap around your small frame and hug you back.

"I'm sorry, I was just worried- you're pretty much the only person here that I care about the most." You admitted, his eyes growing wide at your confession and that had made him pull back.

The soft feeling he felt was making him want to puke. He didn't like the soft stuff, he didn't really like having friends or anything like that. But as the last few weeks flooded his mind, him walking you home and helping you out with your quirk, he had felt somewhat warm inside.

Your cheeks started to heat up from his intense silence, you were worried you said the wrong thing.

"Sorry. We should go." You spoke up again, moving your feet to walk down the stairs again but he grabbed your wrist to make you stop.

"Don't be, I.. never really had someone care for me like the way you do.. besides my mom." He rolled his eyes, barely managing to say that and admit it out loud but he did.

You nodded your head, feeling him let you go and walk down the stairs ahead of you and you were quick to follow him behind.

You both stayed quiet, the lingering tension and awkwardness in the air. Both of you didn't really know what to say, you felt dumb for openly admitting that you cared for him but he secretly appreciated it.

He secretly appreciated you for going out of your way to help him. He just couldn't say it out loud yet.
