As Christians who follow the rules of our religion, sometimes we forget why they are important and simply follow our routine. Whether it is attending church or partaking in Communion, God created these traditions in remembrance and celebration of His great works. Value this, put value in all good things God provides and allows us to celebrate! Do not let your heart become hard and push away from God's intended purposes. This happens through repeated sin, forgetting, and not understanding why and what we do for God. Our traditions are in memorial of Jesus. Look deeply into yourself, what kind of life are you practicing? Have you been baptized? What are you really practicing in your life for God? Is your life still your own, or have you truly given it to God in ordinance, memorial, remembrance, and love?
1 Corinthians 11:17
