As Axl lead Y/N up the driveway of the infamous Hellhouse, she couldn't help but feel a little uneasy. She definitely wasn't expecting Buckingham Palace, but she sure as hell wasn't expecting to see a broken toilet out on the lawn. She couldn't help but cling a little to her older brother's arm for a sense of protection. Axl of course, took note of this action.

"Don't worry Y/N, the guys are... decent. And if any of them go as far as to lay even a single hand on you, I'll chop it off." Axl assured her.

"Don't they kinda need those to play?" Y/N cocked a brow.

"I don't know, Def Leppard seems to be doing fine and their guy lost his whole fuckin arm." Axl kicked the door open, grabbing the attention of only two-quarters of the remaining band (Duff was passed out on a stray mattress, while Steven was too far gone to even comprehend a fifth and sixth presence in the room). The first to acknowledge the arrival of the Bailey siblings was Izzy, who recognized Y/N almost immediately, even in his half-drunken state.

"Well if it isn't Baby Bailey." He said as he approached her. Y/N giggled at the nickname which she hadn't heard it in years, since Jeffrey had left a year before Bill.

"Hiya Jeffrey." She leaned for a hug and he lazily wrapped his arms around her in return. "Haven't seen you in a while. How's this city treatin' ya?"

Izzy pulled away. "How does it look?"

Y/N let out a laugh as you looked around the room. "Honestly... Not that bad."

Izzy chuckled and rolled his eyes as he went into the kitchen to grab a snack. "Maybe we can turn that into a song. Call it 'Good Enough'."

She would have laughed at his little joke but her focus was on something else. In the corner of the room was Slash, who gave her a shy smile and wave when she noticed her looking at him. Y/N giggled and played with a lock of her hair; this action of course did not go unnoticed by Axl.

"No." He stated firmly.

"What?"

"No fuckin' way is this happening." He gestured between the two teens.

Y/N turned red with embarrassment. "Will!"

"Chill, Ax," Slash said with a bit of a chuckle, though his eyes remained on Y/N. He grinned at her, thinking her embarrassment was adorable.

"Don't fuckin tell me to chill, Hudson," Axl growled at him. He placed his arm around Y/N once more and lead her upstairs.

Y/N looked behind to get one last glimpse of Slash before she was upstairs, and she was lucky enough to catch a wink he sent her way.

That night, Y/N would have slept in Axl's bed, since he hardly ever slept anyway, but just as she was about to undress for the night, Slash knocked on her window. Wide-eyed with shock, Y/N went over to open to window for him. "How'd you get up here?"

"Lattice. I don't think I ever got your name, doll." He said with a shy smile.

His smile was very contagious. "Y/N. I think Will said it was Hudson?"

"Hudson's my last name. My friends call me Slash." He explained. "So Y/N, how'd you like a proper tour of the city? As a veteran citizen, I know my way 'round."

Y/N felt her cheeks get hot as she blushed. "Oh I'd love that, but I think Will would feel quite opposite." She giggled.

"And who said he had to know, hm? Come on." Slash grinned and offered his hand. Y/N hesitantly took it and he helped pull her out the window. He climbed down the lattice and she followed suit. They giggled as they ran towards Slash's car, desperately trying to get caught sneaking out together.

"And obviously that's the Roxy." Slash pointed to the brightly illuminated building. "We're doing a show there next week. You'll come right?" He looked down at Y/N with hopeful eyes.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Y/N smiled. The two had been so distracted by each other, they hadn't even noticed they were holding each other's hands. "You know, despite all the junkies, prostitutes and... you know... guys who can't keep it in their pants, LA really is a magnificent city..." She climbed up onto a bench and walked along the wooden planks, while hers and Slash's fingers remained entwined. "I mean, I just love seeing all these bright-eyed people talking about their dreams, even if not all of them get the chance to fulfill those dreams." When she hopped onto the second bench, she looked down at Slash, and he offered her his second hand which she gladly took. "I envy you Slash. You got to see this your whole life. You got to be one of these people your whole life. And now you're becoming one of the few people who actually get to live out their dreams." Though her smile remained, her eyes filled with sadness. "We don't have people like this back in Lafayette. And when we do, they're shunned and put in a cage. Like Will." She stared down at the ground when she recalled the unjust treatment her brother was put through. "I was the lucky one. My only dream was to get the hell out of that place, and thank god I did."

There was a silence after that. Until Slash spoke up again. "I'm sorry."

Y/N looked up at him and her cheeks turned red with embarrassment. "Oh gosh! I was rambling, wasn't I? I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to I just-"

"Hey." Slash cut her off and gave her hands a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry about it. I like hearing you talk." That only made Y/N blush deeper as he helped her hop down from the bench. "To think that you and Krakatoa come from the same family..."

She giggled at the nickname he gave Axl. "Will's been through much more than I have. I know he's rough around the edges, but he can also be a real sweetheart. When he feels, he feels strongly. I admire that about him."

"Yeah. He really knows how to express himself." He chuckled. Y/N joined him in his laughter when she suddenly felt his arms snake around her waist.

"You know he'd kill you if he found out we did this."

"I know. But it was worth it." He grinned.

"No..." Y/N spoke. He frowned but was quickly relieved when he felt her lips on his. She wrapped his arms around her neck and he pulled her closer to his body. He asked for entrance with his tongue and she gladly obliged, allowing him to deepen the kiss.

They pulled away after almost five minutes.

"Now it was worth it." Y/N grinned.
