Justine Skye

Few months later...
Your POV

"Y/N, your phone is ringing," Harley said as she walked by. I had my phone on silent to keep myself from getting distracted. I looked at the phone to see that it was Justine calling.

"Hello," I said and she groaned.

"Hey, Y/N," she said and sneezed.

"Hey, you okay?" I asked her and she groaned again.

"No, I have a cold and I was wondering if you could get me some more medicine. Everyone else is busy and I really didn't want to disturb you, but I really can't get it myself," she said and sneezed again.

"It's okay. I'll get it for you. I'll be there in a few."

"Thank you, Y/N."

"No problem," I replied. I said a quick bye and hung up.

"Going to get baby momma some medicine?" Harley asked me and I nodded.

"Be safe. Don't come back sick because I'm not taking care of you," she said and I chuckled. I grabbed my wallet and my car keys before leaving the house. I went to the nearest drug store and picked up almost every cold medicine they had. I got her some tea, cough drops, Vapor rub and a humidifier. I bought everything without even thinking twice about it.

Nervously, I tapped my fingers against the steering wheel as I drove. When I got there, I carried all the bags up to her door and had to look for her spare key. When I found it, I unlocked the door and walked in.

"Justine, where are you?" I asked as I locked the door.

"Living room," she groaned and I chuckled. I walked to living room to see her on the sofa wrapped in a blanket.

"How'd you get sick?" I asked her and she shrugged.

"When was the last time you took some medicine?" I questioned.

"Yesterday," she replied. I washed my hands before pouring her some medicine and made her some tea.

"Here, take this," I told her and she groaned shaking her head.

"That shit nasty," she replied making me laugh.

"Take it," I told her and she sat up and took the medicine followed by a sip of tea.

"Are you hungry?" I asked her and she nodded.

"I ordered soup before I called you, so don't worry about that," she mumbled before sneezing.

"Okay," I replied and sat next to her. She shivered, so I pulled her closer.

"No, you could get sick," she mumbled.

"It's fine," I told her and wrapped my arms around her. She laid her head on my chest and sighed.

"Is that better?" I asked her and she nodded.

"You're so warm," she said and I chuckled. I rubbed her back as we waited for her soup to get to the house. I got her soup from the delivery guy and brought it to her. I realized she was tired and shaking, so I fed her the soup.

"One more spoonful and you're done," I told her and she pouted.

"Okay," she mumbled eating the last spoonful.

"You did great. Let me go put this away and I'll be right back," I told get and she nodded. I threw away the trash and washed the few dishes before going back into the living room. Justine crawled into my lap and just laid in my arms. I kicked off my shoes and held her closely. She pulled the blanket up and proceeded to go to sleep in my arms. A few short minutes went by, I fell asleep right along with her. A few hours later, I woke up to her sniffling and watching something on tv.

"You're up," she said looking up at me.

"I am. How'd you sleep?"

"Best sleep I've gotten in months."

"That's good. You need me to stay the night or you good?"

"Can you stay?" she asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, let me order you some more soup," I told her and she softly thanked me. I ordered her some soup. I ordered wings for myself and I told Harley to bring me some clothes.

"Come on, let's get you upstairs in bed," I said and picked her up. I carried her to her bed and basically tucked her in. I made her take some more medicine and made sure she had everything that she needed before I went to get her soup and my clothes.

"Not you spending a night," Harley said and handed me my clothes and stuff I needed. She handed me the food I had ordered.

"Shut up. Stay out of my house," I told her and she rolled her eyes.

"Bye, don't come back sick," she said and ran off. I closed the door and locked it. I brought Justine her soup and gave her a few of my wings because she wanted some. I sat on the floor next to her because I don't want to waste anything in her bed. When we were done, I threw everything away in the trash. I took a shower in the guest bathroom and went to check on Justine when I was done.

"You okay?" I asked the sleepy woman.

"Yeah, thank you so much," she said before coughing

"You're welcome, babe. I'll be in the guest room if you need me," I told her.

"No, come cuddle with me. You're warm," she said.

"Let me go get my phone and my charger," I told her and she nodded. I went back into the guest room to get my things. When I walked in the room, Justine was asleep. I plugged in my phone and climbed in the bed. She unconsciously moved over to me and laid down on me.

"I missed you so much," she said and I smiled.

"I missed you, too," I told her as I kissed her forehead.

"I really want us to get back together, but I know that I really hurt you. I'm so sorry."

"Next week, if you're feeling better, let me take you on a date," I said and she looked up at me.

"I'd love to," she replied. I kissed her forehead again and she closed her eyes. She fell asleep after a few short minutes and I was just up looking at the ceiling. My nose started to itch and then I sneezed.

"Fuck."
