CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN

Santana woke up in a different room. Her head hurt like hell and she couldn’t remember how she got there. Rubbing her eyes, she turned to see Damon’s sleeping face. Her mouth dropped. Yelping, she backed away hitting the headboard. He rolled in annoyance, wrapping his arms around her waist. She was fully clothed so she wasn’t entirely sure if she did ‘it’ with him.

Looking down at his face, she noticed how handsome he was up close. She missed him, the old Damon. But where the frick was Nova? Oh yeah, she left him last night. No matter how hard she thought, she couldn’t remember what happened. Nova was going to be so pissed; he’d probably kill Damon for this and probably her too.

Pushing up off the mattress, she tried to get away without waking him up. His arms tightened around her as she did. Staring down at his face, she glared. “Hey, wake up!” she snarled. He slowly opened his eyes and smiled. “Why am I in your bed? What the fuck happened last night?”

“You’re so adorable Santana, pretending like you don’t know.”

“I’m serious! Why am I here with you? Nova’s my mate, I’d never betray him!”

He sighed and sat up. Staring at her, she didn’t expect the next thing. Pulling her beneath him, and pressed down against the mattress “Damon, st-!”

She was cut off as his mouth possessed hers hungrily. She squealed in horror, knowing this was really bad. Hitting his chest, he didn’t budge.

Contacting Nova was the last thing she knew to do. But then he would kill Damon for this. She had to stop him herself; hitting his chest with her fist. Growling, he held her wrists above her head with one hand and continued to caress her waist. Tears were beginning to flow, so she thought of a plan. Relaxing her stiff body, she kissed him back. He moaned as she did, letting her wrists go. Right when he did that, she used one of the moves that she learned in training; flipped him over and continued to kiss him. But that was just to make him think that she was still willing.

Moving her hand slowly up his chest, she jabbed it in his neck. He passed out instantly. She sighed, thankful for that trick she learned. It was called knock out, as it really does knock you out.

Jumping off the bed, she thought about what to tell Nova. No, she couldn’t tell him. He would kill Damon, and that wasn’t right. Looking at the time, it was ten AM. Nova was probably gone already. Walking out the door, she made sure the coast was clear.

When she got to her room, she listened to make sure Nova wasn’t in. He wasn’t so she opened the door to find the whole place trashed. Her mouth dropped open, and a gasp escaped her lips. It looked like he went crazy. The wallpaper had large scratches all over, like he did it in his wolf form. And the mattress was tossed on the floor, the whole thing ripped apart. She looked to see the lamps smashed. What the hell is wrong with him? Anger management much?

She walked into the bathroom, and thankfully he didn’t destroy anything in there. Shaking her head, she turned on the shower to get rid of Damon’s scent. She made sure to smell herself after, checking to see if the scent still lingered. It wasn’t, so she continued to get dressed. She had to wear her shoes, as glass covered most of the floor. Like Seriously Nova?!

After getting dressed, she walked out of her room only to bump into someone. It was Hadyn.

“What the hell happened last night Hadyn?” she hissed.

“You were upset and wanted to get away from Nova, so we went to the bar. I can’t really remember what happened, but you disappeared.”

“I can’t remember it at all. The only thing that I do remember is me dancing with you to ‘We Found Love,’ by Rihanna. Tate was there too. He didn’t like you dancing like that, grinding up against me. Eww,” she laughed.

“Was Nova mad?” Hadyn asked.

She was about to say something but thought better of it. She couldn’t tell her she woke up with Damon sleeping beside her! That would cause more drama.

“Take a look at the room,” she held the door open for her.

“What the hell?! Is he insane?” she screeched.

“I don’t know, but I’m going to give him a serious talking to when he gets back.”

Then Hadyn’s face lit up. “I have such a good idea!”

“What?”

“Let’s go see them! We can also guard, they can’t force us to go back. It will be too much of a hassle for them.”

Santana grinned. “You’re a genius!”

They ran out, heading in their mates’ direction.
