The battle is almost here! I am thinking about making two books for this...What do you guy's think? So basically one more chapter after this, and you'll see it! Yay! Almost done, and then the next book. It's a MAYBE! I'm not sure yet, just thinking, ugh hard to decide. Sorry if it seems a rushed. I've just had no inspiration lately and I've been exhausted from studying so damn much. But hey, I'm still writing even though I'm tired. I've read a really good book on here, where the writer still hasn't updated since september and she said she won't update bc she's tired...How many months do you sleep woman? lol.

I won't say who, bc I don't want to offend her. It's been so long, that I don't even remember what the book was called.

So getting back to this chapter..

Enjoy!

CHAPTER SIXTY-EIGHT

A month later…

“You ready to go?” Derek asked Santana, holding his hand out to her.

“Not really, this place feels like a second home. I don’t feel like leaving just yet,” she smiled sadly at him.

“We’re going to see everyone at the battle anyways,” Derek laughed “And we can always visit them afterwards.”

“I guess you’re right,” she sighed “I just wish we all could have met during different circumstances. Where we could all spend time together normally instead of planning and training for this battle every day,” she mumbled.

He nodded and pulled her along with him to the forest. They were leaving back to the Star pack. She was excited to see her family and be home at last, and to sleep in her own bed for once. But the feeling of sadness crept over her, leaving her new friends. Taking her clothes off beneath a tree, she felt the heat touch her skin, loving the warmth. It was summer, one of her least favourite seasons, as she was always scorching hot to begin with since she was a werewolf. The only thing good about it was going to the ocean and wearing bikinis, shorts and a t-shirt. She always wanted to spend it with her future boyfriend, it was a dream that she had ever since she was a child. But since Nova died before then, she never did and never would most likely. Looking behind the tree, she glanced at Derek who tore off his shirt. Her mouth squeezed shut, cheeks bursting with heat. She’d seen him plenty of times without his shirt on, but for some reason it just seemed so personal and intimate to witness him taking his clothes off. Santana shivered, goose bumps rippling over her skin. Suddenly, his head perked up and then their eyes met.

“I’m sorry, I wasn’t thinking straight!” she gasped, totally embarrassed. Hiding behind the tree, she shifted, not caring about the rest of the clothes she had on. Her backpack was already in the truck, so she had no clothes at hand now.

She shook her body, white fur ebbing and flowing, wolf happy as ever to be let out. The birds chirped, making her forget her embarrassment.

*Wow, this feels nice!* Sage howled.

Santana then felt another presence behind her, thinking it was Derek she turned. It wasn’t. Huffing, she growled at Landon, who was already in his wolf form. Sage sighed dreamily, loving his black wolf with piercing blue eyes. For such a prick, his wolf was actually a very beautiful creature.

*Hey Sunshine. Time flows by, doesn’t it?* he said through the mind link.

*Go away,* she sighed annoyed.
