🌈Chapter 44: Comforting Ryujin

~Ryujin's P.O.V~

The rain won't stop so I decided to use the umbrella Beomgyu left at the tent. Idk if he did it on purpose or not. I then drove my way back home. I entered the maknaes' house looking wet and tired from crying. Yuna noticed it and immediately helped me walk to my room.

"Unnie! What happened to you???" -Yuna

*Sniffle*

"Unnie pls answer me!" -Yuna

"We broke up."

"You... What??" -Yuna

*Sniffle*

"I-I'll call the others." -Yuna

"Where's Kai?"

"He went to Beomgyu oppa's house." -Yuna

I continued crying at my bed. Yuna was texting in our gc since I can hear my phone vibrating from all of the notifications it receives. Meaning, a message from our gc was sent.

"Unnie, they're coming." -Yuna

"Thank you." *sniffle*

Yuna comforted me for a while. She was waiting for the other girls to arrive here at Daegu. I felt sleepy but I still need encouragement so I tried my best to stay awake. I would sometimes sob or cry silently. After three hours, they finally arrived at the house. We didn't care if they arrived late. We're still gonna talk the whole night anyways.

*Door slam*"Ryujin!" -Chaeryeong

*Sniffle*

"What happened? Did you break up??" -Yeji

*Nod*

"Poor unnie." -Yuna

"Why did he do this?? I thought he promised that he'll make you his??" -Lia

"H-he... He..." *sniffle*

"Calm down first..." -Chaeryeong

"He has to marry Minju." *crying*

I can see from the corner of my eye how shocked and surprised these four girls are after what I said. I didn't wanna believe it at first but the truth started slowly sinking in me.

"Minju?! That girl who almost killed you???" -Lia

"Wait! Her?!" -Yeji

"No unnie, she didn't try to kill me..."

"Ryujin you got hit by a car!" -Yeji

"Yeji unnie... That car was driving in circles around the park. Minju was even avoiding it. She doesn't know the driver and she didn't try to kill me."

"But she did try to hurt you." -Yuna

"Agree." -Lia

"I don't understand, why does Beomgyu have to marry her?" -Chaeryeong

"Cuz her mother helped him recover." *sniffle*

"And the only payment for that is to marry that crazy girl! *Clap* I knew it!!" -Lia

"We're so sorry Ryujin..." -Chaeryeong

*Crying*

They all hugged me into a warm embrace. After I said what I found out, they didn't talk much. I thought they would keep telling me words of comfort but no. It was a comforting silence they gave. They just cried with me the whole night. No words can be heard. I actually kinda like it. Until Chaeryeong asked me a question and everyone started talking.

"Do you still trust him Ryujin?" -Chaeryeong

"I want to and I'll try."

"Don't force yourself Ryujin." -Lia

"Lia's right. Once trust is broken, it's hard to gain it back. Why do you still wanna trust him?" -Yeji

*Sniffle*"Cuz he's the one who taught me how..." *crying*

"Aish... If I were you, I wouldn't do that anymore. He says he'll keep his promise but look at what he did!" -Yeji

"We're sorry for pressuring you before unnie. We kept telling you to accept him again in your life. We didn't know that he'll just leave you again." -Yuna

"Don't worry girls, Ryujin is strong, right Ryujin?" -Chaeryeong

*Sniffle* *nod*

After that small talk, I didn't know that I already fell asleep. I was dreaming that I was at a wedding ceremony wearing this beautiful white gown. Then, I saw Beomgyu standing next to his friends, waiting for me to walk down the aisle. Before I could reach him, my vision went black again and I stopped dreaming but still sleeping.

~Third Person's P.O.V~

Ryujin finally closed her eyes and went to sleep to regain energy. The girls were still comforting her until they heard a snore from the girl. Yeji and Lia fixed themselves and went downstairs. Yuna and Chaeryeong were helping Ryujin to change her clothes.

"Unnie, what's gonna happen now?" -Yuna

"Idk Yuna. Let's just expect the unexpected." -Chaeryeong

"I can't believe oppa, he broke her heart again. I hate him now. Just like Yeonjun oppa before." -Yuna

"Don't be Yuna. Just trust him. I know Beomgyu since high school days. He never wants to hurt Ryujin." -Chaeryeong

"Do you still trust him Chaeryeong unnie?" -Yuna

*Nod* -Chaeryeong

'Wow... She really trusts him just like that?' -Yuna

"Even Ryujin trusts him." -Chaeryeong

"But how??" -Yuna

*Sigh*"Look Yuna, even if Beomgyu said that he can't keep his promise..." -Chaeryeong

"... Someone will be willing to help him." -Chaeryeong
