🌈Chapter 29: Doctor Bang

~Third Person's P.O.V~

Beomgyu's workmate called both Ryujin and their manager. He's at the hospital right now still unconscious. His workmate was so worried about him thinking she could get fired for Beomgyu's help. After a couple of minutes, both the manager and Ryujin arrived at his hospital room.

"Gyu!" -Ryujin

"What happened to him?" -Manager

"Madam, pls forgive me. He was just helping me earlier. Pls don't fire me, I need this job..." *sniffle* -Workmate

"Don't worry, I won't fire you." -Manager

"Tysm madam." *sniffle* -Workmate

"What happened to him?" -Ryujin

"He was helping me carry some boxes, then his legs hurt and he fainted." -Workmate

"Thank you for bringing him here." -Ryujin

*Nod* -Workmate

The doctor came in checking if Beomgyu was already awake. His workmate and manager then left for they still have to go somehwere else. Ryujin stayed to take care of her boyfriend Beomgyu.

"Hello, I'm Dr. Bang Si-hyuk and I'm actually his doctor before." -Doctor Bang

"Really?? When??" -Ryujin

"When he had the fire accident." -Doctor Bang

"I see... I'm Ryujin and I'm his girlfriend." -Ryujin

"Well Ryujin, your boyfriend here actually had a leg injury before. I think he didn't take care of himself and so his legs still hurts until now." -Doctor Bang

"Is that a bad thing?" -Ryujin

"Well, leg injuries are supposed to last for only months. It's been years already and so my conclusion is he didn't take much care of his leg." -Doctor Bang

"I understand." -Ryujin

After the talk, Beomgyu finally woke up realizing that he's in the hospital. He was happy to see Ryujin at his side and shocked to also see the same doctor when he got into a fire accident before.

"Dr. Bang? What're you doing here?? Aren't you supposed to be at Seoul???" -Beomgyu

"I left that hospital and transferred here instead." -Doctor Bang

"Ohh." -Beomgyu

"How's your leg doing?" -Doctor Bang

"Still hurts..." -Beomgyu

"Aish... You should've took care of yourself. Your leg should be healed by now." -Doctor Bang

"I may had accidentally got another injury on my other leg when I was in Jeju..." -Beomgyu

"Gyu, why didn't you tell me about this??" -Ryujin

"I didn't wanna worry you." -Beomgyu

"Do your parents know about this?" -Doctor Bang

"No they don't." -Beomgyu

"You should tell them so they can help you." -Doctor Bang

*Sigh*"I'll try." -Beomgyu

The doctor finally left them when Beomgyu took his phone. He called his parents to tell them about his never ending leg pain. He knew that he screwed up but he still has to tell them since secrets don't lasts forever.

*Ring*"Yeoboseyo." -Eomma

"Eomma, there's something I wanna tell you..." -Beomgyu

"I also wanna tell you something but you go first." -Eomma

"Eomma, my leg still hurts until now and I'm at the hospital with Ryujin." -Beomgyu

"What?! And what is Ryujin doing there??" -Eomma

"I forgot to tell you that we're dating again since a month ago..." -Beomgyu

"O-oh I see... Now what I wanna tell you is... Me and your father are going back to Korea! Now get ready cuz we'll smack you if you don't take care of your legs again." -Eomma

"Yes eomma." *chuckle* -Beomgyu

"May I talk to Ryujin for a sec?" -Eomma

"Sure eomma! Ryu, my mom wants to talk to you." -Beomgyu

*Nod*"Yeoboseyo." -Ryujin

Ryujin was feeling nervous while talking to Beomgyu's mother. She remembered before that his parents like her and her parents like Beomgyu before they passed away. But since it's been three years that she didn't had any communication with them, she felt like their relationship went back to square one.

"Ryujin, thank you for taking care and loving my son..." -Eomma

"Of course auntie! Anything for him." -Ryujin

"And I'm also sorry. Goodbye." -Eomma

"What? Auntie? Auntie?? She hanged up..." -Ryujin

"What did she say?" -Beomgyu

"She said thank you and at the same time sorry?" -Ryujin

"Why would she say sorry?" -Beomgyu

"Idk." -Ryujin

Ryujin stayed at the hospital to take care of Beomgyu before going back to work. They're both confused with Mrs. Choi's last words. Thank you and sorry. Although they can sense that there's something wrong, they just shrugged it off and focused on Beomgyu healing.
