🌈Chapter 5: Help A Friend

~Third Person's P.O.V~

It was the day Beomgyu goes back to his hometown. He's very excited, but to make sure he goes home safely, Jeongin went with him. Minju was helping them pack for his bags when Beomgyu's leg started aching again after months.

"AHH!!!" -Beomgyu

"Beom what happened??" -Jeongin

"My leg hurts again..." -Beomgyu

"I told you. You're not fully recovered..." -Minju

"Can you still walk?" -Jeongin

"I'll try." -Beomgyu

"Jeongin, how 'bout you stay with him for a month to take care of him." -Minju

"Ok sure. You know what to tell our boss." -Jeongin

*Nod* -Minju

Jeongin and Minju let Beomgyu lay down first at the couch to ease the pain from his leg. They couldn't cancel his flight cuz Minju's parents will find out that Beomgyu hasn't fully recovered yet which he doesn't want them to know. It'll be harder for him to go back if they find out.

"Does it still hurt?" -Minju

"Yeah a bit." -Beomgyu

"The flight is in an hour. Let's pack his bags for him." -Jeongin

"Thank you guys- AHH!" -Beomgyu

"Just rest there, tell us if you're already fine." -Minju

*Nod* -Beomgyu

The two lessened his bags that he'll be carrying back home. After packing, Beomgyu finally felt better and so, the two boys went to the airport. Jeongin insisted to carry Beomgyu's bags and luggage to help him out.

"Are you sure your leg is ok now?" -Jeongin

"Yes I'm sure." -Beomgyu

They both boarded the airplane and had a plane trip for more than an hour. After that they finally arrived at Daegu International Airport.

"Wow! So this is Daegu?" -Jeongin

"Yup!" -Beomgyu

"Hey next time, let's go to Busan." -Jeongin

"Sure!" -Beomgyu

They stayed at a hotel for the day. Beomgyu still needs to rest to make sure his leg won't hurt again. Now that he's back at his hometown, it'll be easier for him to reach Ryujin. He texted Yuna to know where they leave around the area.

here at Daegu. Where
do you live?

Hi oppa!👋 We live
across your old house.

Oh really??

Yeah! When are you
visiting?

I guess tomorrow. I
still have to take a
rest.

While Beomgyu was texting Yuna, Jeongin had a feeling that it wasn't just Beomgyu missing his hometown being the real reason for him to go back home. He planned not to ask him but he couldn't help himself.

"Hey bro look, tbh, I didn't actually believe you wanna go back cuz you miss your hometown. Mind telling me the REAL reason?" -Jeongin

*Sigh*"Alright, I'll tell you. The truth is... I went back for Ryujin." -Beomgyu

'I knew it!' -Jeongin

"Who's this Ryujin anyways and that you're so into her?" -Jeongin

"She's my girlfriend, or maybe, my ex-girlfriend." -Beomgyu

*Gasp*"Really?! You have a girlfriend??? Why didn't you tell us???" -Jeongin

Now the boy was asking new questions after hearing Beomgyu's answer. He never know that he dated a girl before he got into a fire accident.

"You were so focused on helping me recover that you didn't had time listening to my story..." -Beomgyu

"Oh sorry, hehe... But, does she still love you?" -Jeongin

"She doesn't." -Beomgyu

"Then why'd you wanna go back?" -Jeongin

"Cuz I promised that I'll make her mine again." -Beomgyu

"Bro, I don't wanna offend you but, why don't you just look for someone else? What if, she really doesn't love you anymore??" -Jeongin

"Don't lose hope Jeongin, I'll do everything for her. For my Ryujin." -Beomgyu

'She's going to be sad when she finds out about this.' -Jeongin

"Ok you know what, let's take another rest." -Jeongin

"Sure bro." -Beomgyu

Beomgyu lied down at the bed with a smile while Jeongin looks luke he's in a deep thought. He doesn't know what to feel at that moment. Mixed emotions and thoughts made him have a hard time after the flight.
