🌈Chapter 8: Past

~Third Person's P.O.V~

Beomgyu and Yeonjun are now outside the house. The younger boy felt nervous since they're really not that close and this is their first time meeting each other again after two years. Yeonjun felt the awkward atmosphere so he tried to make Beomgyu comfortable around him.

"Nice to see you again." -Yeonjun

"You too hyung." -Beomgyu

"How are you? I heard about the accident before." -Yeonjun

"I-I'm fine now." -Beomgyu

"Hey, don't be shy around me. Let's be close ok?" -Yeonjun

"Ok." -Beomgyu

"Look Beomgyu, there's something I wanna tell you." -Yeonjun

"What is it?" -Beomgyu

Yeonjun took a deep breath as he knows how hard it is to tell Beomgyu about the past when he dated Ryujin. Seeing this made Beomgyu gulp as he sensed that what Yeonjun will tell him has an effect about something.

"Two years ago, they said there was a fire accident back at the old building you were working before right?" -Yeonjun

"Yeah. Coincidentally, it was Ryujin's birthday..." -Beomgyu

"I know. I'm not sure if you already know this but, at the same day, she had a car accident and had amnesia." -Yeonjun

"What?" -Beomgyu

"That means, she forgot about you. She did remember the keychain and the fact that you dated but that's it." -Yeonjun

"I... Didn't know that." -Beomgyu

"Also, for the past two years... Me and Ryujin dated." -Yeonjun

"You what?" -Beomgyu

"Since she forgot about you, we started dating for the sake of healing her. But..." -Yeonjun

"But??" -Beomgyu

"Pls don't get mad but... I b-broke her heart again." -Yeonjun

"Hyung! Why would you do that???" -Beomgyu

"I'm sorry. I fell in-love with Yeji. But I promise Beomgyu, I took care of her. I just didn't tell her the truth sooner." -Yeonjun

Beomgyu's head was still processing Yeonjun's words that did have an effect in his feelings for the girl. Yeonjun dating Ryujin while she had amnesia and at the same time, falling in-love with someone else, was something he couldn't accept easily. But it already happened so the only peaceful way to still be friends with him is to forgive.

*Deep breath*"I understand hyung but may I ask? Did you truly love Ryujin while I was gone?" -Beomgyu

"I did, but, that was at first. It didn't last long." -Yeonjun

"Atleast hearing that you cared for her is enough for me." -Beomgyu

"Now that you're back, I think it's time you take back what's supposed to be yours." -Yeonjun

"Thank you hyung." -Beomgyu

*Pat* *pat* -Yeonjun

Yeonjun was a bit surprised to see Beomgyu being calm even if he broke his girl's heart. He was expecting that he'll shout at him and he wouldn't even stop the younger boy. He then knew, Ryujin won't get hurt again if she accepts him back in her life. They heard noises inside the house so they decided to head back in.

"What's going on here?" -Beomgyu

"Looks like they're preparing a welcoming party for you." -Jeongin

"Guys you don't have to do this." -Beomgyu

"Yes, we don't HAVE to..." -Lia

"... But we WANT to." -Taehyun

'Here are the smarty pants again...' -Yeonjun

"Bro, I'll leave you here. Text me if you're going back at the hotel." -Jeongin

"Alright. But where are you going?" -Beomgyu

"Shopping!" -Jeongin

*Sigh*'Forget everything I said yesterday. He's a bit spoiled.' -Beomgyu

Jeongin left the other nine while they're still preparing for the party. Beomgyu couldn't help himself but just felt happy to see that his friends still care for him. They ate lunch first before going back to their own work. Hours had passed but Ryujin wasn't home yet which made Beomgyu worried.

'Where could she be?' -Beomgyu
