A YEAR AGO

It has been a week since Mami woke up from the coma she has been in for three months. In those two months, Aamir and Daihaah have been the ones that stayed with her the most and only left when Aneesah and Faruk told them that they will take over for them. However, with Anee being almost due she couldn't always be there and Faruk has to take care of her so Samhah and Afnan cover up those times. Samhah's wedding had to be moved since it can't be done without her mother being there; conscious that is.

Mami regaining her consciousness is good news to them all and today she is finally going to be discharged. So, everyone is here as if they'll all carry her back home but...let's just forget that part.

Mami moved her legs off the bed to place them on the cold tile when Faruk quickly moved to help her which earned him a swat on the arm. "How many times to I have to tell you I'm fine, I can move on my own!" She said getting frustrated with the way they are all treating her like an egg that will crack any time now.

Prince being the wicked guy he is snickered muttering an "Allah ya qara" remembering when yesterday he tried to help her and it earned him a smack on the nape of his neck to which Faruk laughed till his eyes sting with tears.

Mami glared at Prince making him swallow his laughter and quickly turning it into a cough, blinking his eyes in the process to sell his act.

Mami narrowed her eyes at Prince, then Daihaah, "What are you two still doing here?" she asked making them look at each other perplexed.

"Well you're going back home today...So just like everyone else we're here to offer our support" Prince said making Daihaah nod in agreement.

"You two have spent almost all your time here more than everyone else I'm sure you haven't had time to yourselves after everything that happened" Said Mami.

Daihaah smiled, "It's ok Mami, your health comes first"

"Yes" This time it was Prince whom nodded in agreement.

"No! After everything that went down you two didn't fix your relationship before the incident happened and you've been apart for weeks" Aneesah said making her way where Mami is.

"And that is why..." Mami collected what Aneesah handed her, "We're giving you this" she handed it to Prince whom took it with his brows furrowed.

"What..."

"It's tickets to Maldives that leaves in an hour" Sultan cut in holding his wives hands in his and giving it a small squeeze of assurance, "We have booked you two a resort in Male for six weeks"

"You two deserve it" Mami said when she saw the look on Daihaah's face that said she's going to object. "Trust me; you guys need a vacation after everything"

Daihaah stared at the ticket Prince handed her; she was simply out of words. In a way since she agreed to stay with him things were kind of good between them but they haven't had time to mend their relationship as they were always busy with the hospital and barely have time to think of anything but Mami's wellbeing and Big Boss's whereabouts.

So honestly speaking, yes, they do need a vacation right now that everything's back to normal.

"Plus you don't need to think of packing..." Samhah said, a wide smile taking over her features.
