Madeline's POV

Magkatabi kaming naglalakad ni Lay. Kanina pa kami lakad nang lakad at naghahanap sa mga piraso ng letcheng puzzle na 'yan! Umaasa rin na makita na namin si Abigail o ang mga kaibigan namin. Right now we already have eight puzzle pieces and as Lay estimated, the puzzle has twelve pieces overall! Still, we need to search for the remaining four missing puzzle pieces. The heck?! My gorgeous body is damn tired already!

"We could stop and rest a li'l while Maddie," I looked at the owner of that deep husky voice. He's looking at me tenderly. A glint of tiredness in his eyes can't be missed by mine. Yup, we may not have any wristwatch or whatever piece of sh*t to know what time it is, but we're not 'dumb' to know that we're walking almost a day! I will really kill whoever put our ass here in this fuckin' place!

"But Lay.. we need to find them or else--"

"A little rest is not a loss, Maddie. We wouldn't able to find them if we're weak and also tired like this," he reasoned out and I just sighed and pouted in defeat. Yeah, he has a point there! Kung makikipagtalo pa ako at magpapatuloy mas babagal lang kami. Plus, hindi pa makakapag-isip ng tama.

"Tsk, such a stubborn girl of mine," I forced to not let a smile but turned out, I just made a smirk. He holds my hand and pulled me to one corner of the hall. We sat down on the floor and even felt how cold it is. He patted the space next to him, and understandingly I sat close beside him! Tumabi ako sa kaniya at nakangiting kinawit ang braso ko sa braso niya, hihi. Sa kaniya lang naman ako nagiging ganito, eh. Only in him, I can do cute and sweet moves. Only to him, I can be true to myself.

"Tsk," on my dismay, he removed my arms from him only to put his arm on my shoulders. Napangiti naman ako dahil do'n, talaga naman oh! May sarili talaga siyang paraan para pakiligin ako, hehe. Napatingin naman ako sa mga mata niya ng maramdaman ang malalalim na titig niya sa'kin. Hindi ko ba alam?! Pero sa tuwing titignan niya ako ng ganyan para akong icecream na malulusaw? Nanlalambot ang mga tuhod ko at bumibilis ang pintig ng puso ko. Naramdaman ko na lang ang paglapit ng mukha namin sa isa't-isa kaya unti-unti akong napapikit. Ayan na makakakiss na din ako sa jowa kong laging menopause! Hihi..

Napadilat namam ako ng maramdaman ko ang labi nito--- 

sa ilong ko?!

"You should've seen your face, Maddie!" Saka niya ko tinawanan nang malakas! Grrr, sabi na nga ba eh! Inis ko siyang pinagpapalo-- only to be mocked again. Grabe?! 
Tuwang-tuwa ang loko?! Halos tawa niya lang ang naririnig sa buong pasilyo. Habang siya ay tuwang-tuwa, ako naman ay lukot na lukot ang mukha! Kainis talaga! Lagi siyang ganiyan, tuwing akala ko ikikiss niya na ako it will ALWAYS be my nose or my forehead! 'Bakit hindi na lang yung lips ko?!' and he will always answer me..

"Not now baby, not until I already proved myself," and just like that my heart will melt. He never failed to make me feel all giddy and worthy at the same time. Dahil din do'n ay itinigil ko na ang pagpalo sa kaniya. Maybe, I'm a total b*tch but I'm a human too. I also have weaknesses and one of them is him. But I also found my strength in him. It's crazy how love can make you fall on your knees. That's why I can't question Hades, the god of the underworld. Bad guys are really bad not until they really fell in love.
