Imagine forcing Kai to watch Catfish with you, but he doesn't understand
"Wait why did he lie?" Kai asked, eating potato chips beside you. You were on the couch watching TV.
"Because he didn't want her to know who he really was," you told him and he got even more confused.
"Well why not?" He asked.
"Because he must of thought she wouldn't like him if he was himself," you told him.
"That's not a valid reason to lie," Kai said.
"I know, that's why the show is a thing, it's to catch the catfishes," you explained.
"Catfish? What do fish have to do with lying?" Kai asked, causing you to chuckle.
"Kai, catfish is a word for somebody who uses somebody else's identity to date somebody," you explained.
"Oh," he said, staying quiet for a moment before saying, "Now I feel stupid."
"Aw, don't feel stupid. You just didn't know, you're very smart," you said, leaning up and kissing his cheek.
"I'm so lucky I have you," he said, looking at you and smiling.
"You're sweet, I love you," you told him.
"I love you too," he said.
