I'm standing by Gleen looking for my brother and my son. Everone is almost done packing their things. I walk up to the bottom of the stairs.
"Were ready, grimes." I say my voice low I look him in the eyes.
"The deal the Governor offered about Michonne... I understand you had to think about it. You had to. I get it." My voice hoarse.
"Yeah. I'm sorry. I came real close."
"But you didn't." I say walking next to him. He nods looking at me
"Thank you." I mumble he looks at me surprised
"For what?"
"The day after... Liam and Johnathan died. When you tried to make me come to my senses. Thank you."
"Well, you have a son and a brotherthat was worried about you."
"Yeah but you could have given up. When I first siad no."
"Well... there must have been something else, then." He stares into my eyes and I break the eye contact. I walk out of the cell block we were in.
Time skip
I toss a flash bang into the cell block hall way. Blinding them momentarily while I slip out and stand with Gleen once agian
"You ready?" He nods and we both start shooting at the people from Woodbury. We get most of them but some escape. Along with the govern and Martinez.
"We did it. We drove then out." Rick says
"We should finish it." Me and my brother say at the same time
"It is finished Didn't you see them hightail it out of here?"
" They can regroup" Michonne states
" We can't take the chance. Hes not gonna stop." Glenn grunts
" Hes right we can't keep living like this." I stutter out
"So we take this fight back to Woodbury.
We barely made it back last time" Maggie trials off I look at Darly
"I don't care." He says Rick breaths out a yeah
"Let's check on the others. Come on." We wait in the cafeteria for the rest of the group to meet us. I see Jared and pull him in to a hug but he doesn't do anything. I check him over for any bits or anything by he slaps my hand away. Makeing me look at him shocked
"I'm fine, mom. I'm going with you to Woodbury." He grunts I sigh I run my hand down my face.
"No."
"Yes mom. I'm not a kid anymore-"
"And I really am thankful for that, but your barley 16. I can't loose anymore family. Especially you." I say grabbing him by the shoulders.
"And what if I loose you.I'm going with you mom. You have I say in it." I scoff at him
"Jared. For God's sake you are Staying here. I do have a say in it. I'm your mother. " I say he angrily walks away. I sigh
"Lane? Come on were about to leave." I hear Darly say
"Alright." Michonne. Glenn and Maggie stay back so it's just Rick Daryl, and I
I hope in the truck And wait for Daryl to start driving. I quickly start the truck and Start driving. Once we care of few miles in the truck that the governor Was an along with the other people. Is abandoned the whole bunch of walkers inside. Where can I get out the car soon as we start seeing Daryl shooting at the walkers. That's until I'm really against the truck door and a Girl bangs on the window. I pull out my Python and so does Rick.
"I can help you get to Woodbury. The governor. He shot all of us. Killed them."
========time skip
She leads us to Woodbury. I soon as we get there we got start getting shot at. So we all shot back but since we can't see anything we all miss
"Tyrese! It me-" I force her down.
"Shut up."
"Karen, are you okay?" She gets out of my grasp
"I'm fine"
"Wheres the governor."
"Gone. He fired on everyone. Killed them all." There is a sad pause in I bang my head against the truck were hiding behind.
"Why are you with them?!" This Tyreese guy yells
"They saved me."
"Were coming out!" Rick yells. Darly and I shake our head. Darly go to the other side of the car. Rick stands up but I stay behind the car.
"Fuck me." I groan and stand up with my hands up the gate opens and this Tyreese stands in front of rick and I
"What are you doing here?" He asks
" We were coming to finish this. Until we saw what the governor did." Rick stares off
"He.... he killed them?" I groan
"Yes. Yes he did boo fucking who." I mumble Darly glares at me
"Karen told us Andrea hopped the wall. Going for the prisoner. Well she never made it."
"She might be here." I wonder if he took her to were they held Gleen and Maggie. Walk to that area
"This is where he held them." I say
"The governor held people here?"
"Look I don't know what you heard about you fucking governor. But he wasn't a good dude. He did more then hold them here." Rick looks at me with a what the fuck look and I just shrug
We start to hear thudding behind a door that has a pool of blood.Damn. We open it to see a dead guy that looks like the nerd we met the last time. Andrea is sitting in the corner. She got bit. She dieing. She starts talking to rick and Michonne. She looks at Darly and I who are off to the side.
"No one can make it alone now. Including you two." I weakly smile
"I never could." We say in unison she smiles at us. She says she wants to be the one to kill her. After a minute of going back and fourth I give her one of my guns. And walk out of the room. Even though I didn't really like her doesn't mean I want to watch another person die.
