"I'm so glad to be out of that uniform!" Mercedes says on the way out the door.

Marcy and Mal look at her. That literally came out of nowhere.

"I'm just saying. I feel free again."

"Okay, lady." Marcy gives her a bizarre look before leaving.

Mal snickers before following.

Mercedes stamps a foot. "I look good and neither of you are going to harsh my mellow!"

The engaged duo hop in Travis and Marcy drives away.

Mercedes sticks out her tongue before going to her caddy. She gets in and drives to pick up Sam. She wants to spend more than just third period and after school with him.

The blond leaves the Hudson-Hummel home and gets in. "Your car is still seriously amazing."

"Thank you." She beams.

He looks over her attire of red dress and blue accessories with an oversized black blazer. "You look really good."

You can't hit her in the butt with an apple. "Thank you!"

He smiles.

She drives to school and they sing along to the radio. They have an enjoyable, relaxed time. Not knowing it won't last...

"I don't understand." Tina freely admits. "Coach Beiste is being abused?"

Brittany starts crying. "I don't want her to be abused!"

"I think her more than anybody doesn't want her to be abused." Karen says dryly.

Mari frowns at her best friend. "This is serious, Karen."

"I never said it wasn't."

Santana still can't wrap her mind around this. "But she's so big and tough?"

Lauren is quaking.

Sugar and Rachel are crying themselves.

Quinn shakes her head. "We have to do something."

"I'm glad you're all taking this seriously." Coach Sylvester nods. "Since Schuester's all about singing for feelings or whatever, I think you should sing her a song that helps her deal with this."

"Let her know she's not alone?" Mercedes sniffles.

"Yes." Coach Sylvester frowns at Marcy. "Are you done now?"

Marcy hangs up her phone. "Yes."

"Nice to know you care."

Marcy's really confused. "Is that a question?"

"Is this getting lost in translation?"

Marcy doesn't mess up in English too often but it's often enough that she's sure that's it. "Probably."

Coach Sylvester gives her a flat look. So sarcasm didn't work... "I'm saying that you don't seem as concerned as your friends over Shannon's situation."

"Why would I be?"

Excluding her sisters and besties, the other girls gasp. "Marcy?!"

"What?"

"Do you not understand why this is bad?" Tina whispers.

"That that Cooter man is hurting Coach Beiste? Yeah. I'm broken, not an idiot. But I also know it's over."

"Over?" Rachel questions.

"Do you think he's going to stop?" Coach Sylvester hurts at her "naïveté".
