Mercedes comes down for breakfast, excited to go back to school. "Good morning!"

"Morning." Marcus, Marc and Marcy reply.

"How are my beautiful niece and handsome nephew?" She coos.

The twins make a bunch of noise from their highchairs.

She kisses both on their chubby cheeks. "I'm going to miss you during school."

Mally sprouts baby gibberish.

"Yeah, I'm gonna miss you."

"They're gonna miss you, too." Marcy says as she serves breakfast.

"Yay!" Mercedes claps, making the twins swing their hands.

"I need to come into your glee club today." Marcy says quietly.

"What? Why?"

"There's something I need to do. Marc said he'd watch the kids for me."

"Oh. Okay. Do you remember what time it starts?"

"Yeah, I got it."

"Okay. Pass the potatoes please."

MJ

"Mercedes!" Tina waves big.

Mercedes waves back. "T!"

Tina runs to her and hugs her. "I missed you!"

"It was one day!" Mercedes giggles.

"I saw you twice last week! That's it!"

"What about Monday and Tuesday?"

"They don't count."

Mercedes laughs.

"Now how was your weekend?" Tina threads their arms together and leads Mercedes down the hall.

MJ

"What'd you do this weekend?" Finn asks as they all sit down at lunch in the choir room.

"Nothing much. Just stayed close to home." Mercedes shrugs.

"Recharging?" Blaine guesses.

"Something like that."

"Are you ever going to tell us what last week was about?" Santana demands hotly.

"Ask Marcy. She'll be here this afternoon."

"What's she going to do next?" Artie snorts. "Blow up the school?"

She swats him. "Be nice. Marcy might surprise you."

MJ

"I apologize."

"What?!" The glee club is surprised.

"I apologize." Marcy repeats. "For my terrible behavior and stank attitude. None of you have ever done a thing to me but I took my problems out on you. It wasn't fair and it wasn't right. So I apologize."

The class is blown away.

"It takes a big woman to apologize." Ms. Pillsbury says.

"Thank you." Marcy says politely.

"Although it hurt, it needed to be said." Finn stands up. "You were right. About all of it. We're bad friends."

"Finn,-"

"No, can I get it out? I need to apologize to Mercedes, Quinn and Mike. I thought I was a good friend but I've been selfish. I haven't thought about how any of you might have felt over the years but I will from now on."
