Prom Night - Zach x Reader

You arrive to prom night with Hannah.
When you get inside you see your friends Jeff, Clay, Tony, Alex, Jessica and your boyfriend Zach.

"Blue looks good on you." Zach says and winks at you.
Your cheeks turn pink. You hate that you always get this shy around him because the relationship is new.
"We should get some drinks first." Alex says to the boys.

"I'll see you later, I can't wait to see you dance." Zach whispers in your ear.
"You'll be impressed by my talents."
He laughs and kisses your cheek.

You and the girls start dancing to Kiss and Make up by Dua Lipa while the boys are talking at the bar.
You feel so happy being there with your favorite people. You try to forget that it's your last year in Liberty High.

When the song ends you go over to the boys.

"Are you talking about us?" Jessica asks.
They're laughing and clearly lying when theh say they were just talking about school stuff.

"Omg I love this song!" Jessica gets excited when M.E. by Taylor Swift starts playing and asks everyone to go the dancefloor.
You're all singing along and showing the funniest dance moves to each other.

After that the lights in the room are dimming and a slow song starts playing. Zach takes your hand and asks if you wanna dance.

When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath
But you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight🎶

Some people are leaving earlier than you expected.
When the principal notices people are leaving he gets on the stage where a piano is placed in the middle.

"We have a special performance tonight."
Everyone gets excited.
Your friends are wondering why you walk to the stage.
When you start playing the piano everyone is astonished.

"Did you know she played the piano?" Hannah asks Zach.
"No. Wow. She's really good!"

You start singing the song where you and Zach danced to earlier.
You were so nervous before but now all you feel is happiness and joy.

You had the best night ever and go home with Zach.
The whole night felt like a dream.
