"How are you holding up?" Zach asks as he sits next to you. He always feels the need to ask you if you're okay. Now that you and Justin have broken up he's checking in even more than before.
"I'm fine, I mean I still miss him but I'm doing good without him."
"Good." He says.
"You know what would really make me feel better?"
"What?"
"Tequila shots"
He laughs but quickly realises you're being serious.
"Let's do shots." he says.
...
After your fifth shot the alcohol hits you. You see that Zach is starting to get drunk too.
"Shit you needed a ride home." He says.
"Yeah actually I do."
"You can stay over."
"You parents won't mind?"
"No they're asleep already they won't notice."
"Okay." You chuckle. "Another shot?"
...
You're passed out, too drunk.
Zach is getting drunk too but he's sober enough to take care of you.
"You're gonna have such a bad hangover."
You chuckle and look at him with tired eyes.
"Don't worry. I'll take care of you." He says as he tucks you in.
"Thank you Zach." You mumble.
he caresses your cheek and smiles.
"I love being with you." he says a few seconds before you fall asleep.
