You're at Clay's house. You were cooking while he got a phone call with the tragic news about Hannah.
You're not sure how to comfort him, you've never seen him so upset.
"Come, sit down." You say.
With one hand you take his shaking hands and with your other hand you lift his chin so that he can look at you. It breaks your heart to see him like this.
"I'm so sorry Clay." You say as you wipe away his tears. "I wish I could do something for you."
"Just being here is enough." He says, sobbing. "I don't want to be alone."
you put your arms around his neck and gently run your hands through his hair. "You are never alone." You respond. "I'll always be here for you."
